"You shouldn't take these with liquor". Matthew said reaching for the bottle. Megan snatched it back rolling her eyes. "It's to help me sleep! I haven't been able to sleep". She snapped attempting to drink it. Matthew grabbed it rushing to the sink pouring it down the drain. Turning around, Megan slapped him across the face. "Stop trying to act like someone dad or some shit! I'm grown". She screamed out.
He sighed shutting his eyes. "Megan you need to stop putting your fucking hands on me!". He shouted in her face. Megan gazed into his heated eyes, her bottom lip trembling. "M-man fuck you, get out my house". She shakily said, she bit inside of her cheek her face turning red.
Matthew eyes soften, he grabbed her arm stopping her from leaving, "I'm sorry for yelling I didn't mean to hurt your feelings". He softly said. "Hurt my feelings, boy bye". She said quietly clearing her throat. Turning around she walked up the stairs quietly closing her bed room door.
Laying down, she busted into tears pulling the covers over her body. Matthew run his fingers through his hair in frustration.
"Megan?". He asked by the bed, she ignored him, Matthew jumped on the bed making her bounce up. "Hey I'm sorry". He said pulling the covers back. She mustered up a small smile, "I'm fine boy". She said waving him off. He gazed at her face, "You're crying". He said as she giggled.
"But I'm not now, real niggas don't cry". She playfully said, "I want to take you somewhere". He said as she moved in closer to him, grabbing his long arm she wrapped it around herself inhaling his cologne. "Where?". She asked gazing into his eyes. "On a date". He said as her eyes lit up.
"Boy what?". She said sitting up, "A date? We aren't together". She spat out, he grabbed her hand opening her palm tracing it. "And? I can't take my best friend on a friendly date". He asked as she nodded.
"I guess". She said after awhile, he smiled leaning in to kiss her cheek. "Well get ready I'll be back in two hours".
