"Megan!". Matthew shouted unlocking her door, John grabbed Matthew's shoulder. "Don't touch me". He shouted running up the stairs. Opening her door, he looked around.
"Four?". He yelled, turning the lights on he saw the note on the bed. Grabbing it, he slowly opened it. "S-she isn't mine?". He softly asked reading the DNA letter, his father shook his head walking into the room. "I was trying to protect you! Black people are nothing but liars! She knew that child was never yours". He said as Matthew cried into his hands. "Dad shut the fuck up!". He spat wiping her tears. He shook his head. "She wouldn't do this to me! We promised each other". He quietly said, reaching into his pocket he grabbed his phone. "Fuck!". He screamed hearing the phone go to voicemail.
"I tried to tell you son, I was only trying to protect you". John said wrapping his arms around his son. Matthew cried harder, he was heartbroken. "S-something isn't right". He choked out pushing his father back. "You had something to do with it". He asked as his father chuckled.
"Son, why would I do something to her, I never liked her but I wouldn't dare hurt her". He said as Matthew snatched his father shirt closer to him. They were nose to nose. "I'm done with you dad, I'm gonna find her and I find out you did something to her it's over for you". Matthew shouted pushing him back. "Is that a threat boy". John yelled back. Matthew chuckled, "No it's a promise".
