I'm about to drop some truth bombs, Bumbleby is underdeveloped and should not be made canon to please their toxic fanbase.

Blake has healthier options in terms of who to be with romantically. Blake's best options being Sun, Weiss, and Ilia.

Sun is a good match for Blake because he really cares about her and her goals to rebuild the white fang. He isn't a "stalker" for following Blake to Menagerie. Sun saw Blake run away after the fall of Beacon and followed her so that she wouldn't have to be alone during such a difficult time. He's helped her a lot and even said that he never did any of what he did so that Blake would like him back. Sun helped Blake because she's his friend and it was the right thing to do. Even after Sun took a hit from Ilia, he made Blake realize that she couldn't push away the people that care about her. It is because of him that Blake learned that she can't run away from her problems and that she had to face them head on. At the end of volume five when Blake was hesitant to fully reunite with her team, Sun gave her the push that Blake needed to forgive herself and go back to her team. That's what all that matters is about because it's not a Bumbleby song. Either way, Sun has always been there for Blake and the only reason that he's been written off of the show for now is because he chooses to go back to his own team after seeing Blake reunite with her team. Blake was even sad to see him go, but she knew that she had to because it was the right thing. It's also a bonus that Sun has Kali's approval and he probably secretly has Ghira's approval as well. Sun always puts Blake first and supports her no matter what and that's what she needs in a relationship.

Weiss is another healthy option for Blake, even though they haven't been developed in the show. Though neither has Bumbleby and that seems what Rooster Teeth is going with, so even if Monochrome isn't developed it has the same development as Bumbleby anyways. Blake and Weiss had a rocky start with Weiss finding out about Blake's previous involvement with the white fang. Though we can't really blame her since it was revealed that several members of Weiss' family have disappeared/killed by members of the white fang. However, Weiss comes around and is able to form a solid foundation with Blake. Since then their interactions have been minimal, but every interaction that they've had after that has been meaningful. The only problem is that Rooster Teeth never took the time to develop their relationship rather they have chosen only to develop White Rose and Bumbleby. Weiss clearly cares deeply for Blake and promised that she'd be there for her when Blake would allow her to. Rather than it being Yang and Blake fighting against Adam, it should have been a fight that Weiss and Blake should have fought together. Yes, I get that Yang needed to get "even" but I'll explain that later. It should have been Weiss and Blake in that fight against Adam due to all of the trauma that the Schnee family had caused him. It would have made more sense that Adam would have wanted to get revenge on a Schnee and Weiss fighting at Blake's side would have gone back to Weiss keeping her promise to Blake. Instead all we got was Weiss feeling sorry that Blake had to go through all that. In volume seven, Blake and Weiss should have had an arc in which the two worked to fix all of the wrongs that the people of Atlas had done to the faunus and we were robbed from that. It would have been a great opportunity to further develop these two characters especially since Blake has been lacking in individuality ever since she's been dubbed "Yang's girlfriend". It's clear that Weiss feels guilty about the faunus abuse that has been going on in Atlas, so naturally she'd want to fix it since she no longer considers them "rapscallions" and it would have been a great opportunity for Blake to continue her work on wanting to rebuild the white fang and step up as their leader. Which is why Weiss makes a healthy option for Blake to be with.
