Twilight continued

Chapter 6

As I was running through the woods, looking for Edward with the rest of the family, I kept thinking about mom. I hated to see her go, but at least I can visit more often now that I'm under control. Just then I saw something running right towards us, it wasn't a werewolf, it was too small. Then I saw it was running towards Esme. I was screaming her name just as the thing took her down. We were all running towards whoever was attacking Esme. Jasper knocked the thing down and started ripping its head off. As he got hold of it, I saw the blood red eyes and the black cape. Then as everyone around me was dropping to the ground, screaming in pain, I knew it was Jane. Quickly I used my sheild, so she couldn't hurt anyone. As soon as he recovered, Emmet went at her. I made sure that I kept the sheild up so he could kill her. Jane wasn't strong at all, she was useless without her power. Soon everyone, except Esme who was unconscious, was on top of Jane. In no time at all, she was torn to shreds.

"Someone start a fire," Carlisle said.

Then he went to tend to Esme, to see if she could be saved. Soon there was a fire and the pieces of Jane were getting thrown into it.

"Why arn't there any more volturi?" I said, "she wouldn't come alone."

"I don't know," Alice said, "I can't see anything anymore and Edward wasn't here to read her mind."

"If there were anymore they would have come out to save her," I said.

"I don't know how I'm going to save her," Carlisle whispered, "there's too many pieces."

When he turned around I could see that he was crying .
