Chapter 7

"I can't save her," Carlisle said, "there's too many pieces."
When he turned around, I saw a single tear dropping down his face.

No one said anything, we were all too shocked.

"What happened to her?" I heard someone say. I turned around and saw that it was Edward. I ran to hug him and he hugged me back.

"I guess he forgives me," I thought.

He probably read someone's thoughts because now he was crying to.

"Did you burn her?" Edward asked.

"Yes," I said knowing that he was talking about Jane.

Jasper must have used his power, because everyone started calming down.

"What are we going to do?" I asked.

"We have no other choice," Alice said as she started tearing up, "we have to burn her."

"NO!" Carlisle screamed.

"There's too many pieces," Edward said, "there's no way to save her."

"No, please, there must be someway, Alice can you see anything?" Carlisle asked.

"No Carlisle, I'm sorry I still can't see anything," Alice said.

"I can't do this to her," Carlisle whispered, "I saved her once, I'm sure I can save her again."

"I'm sorry but there's no way," Edward said.

"There has to be a way!" Carlisle screamed.

Jasper a little help please," Alice said.

"Carlisle, we have to go," Emmet said, "there could be more of the volturi coming."

"But... I love her," Carlisle said.

"I'm so, so sorry," I said, "but we really need to go."

"Kill me," Carlisle said just those two words, nothing else. It was so quiet I could barely hear him, "Please, Edward you know how I feel, you've felt this before."

"I can't do that," Edward said, "I could never kill you, you mean too much to me and I've already lost Esme," then Edward started crying, everyone was crying, even Emmet, "You and her were the only parents I've ever had that understood me. You have to stay, for me and Alice and everyone else, for your kids. Carlisle, you have to be strong. I know I wasnt, but I know that you can."

"I just dont know how I'll go on," Carlisle said.

"You will, it will take time, but you will," said Edward.

"Rosalie, do you want to head back to the house with Carlisle while we take care of this?" Emmet said.

"Yea," Rosalie said

"I'll go too," said Alice.

"See ya later," I said to them as they walked off.
