With the sound of the TV playing quietly in the background and Eddies chest rising up and down, Richies heavy head on top of it that had face planted there at some point during the movie, it wasn't long before they both accidentally fell asleep on the couch. That was a big mistake in itself though, because after about an hour and a half of sleeping peacefully, Eddies mom walked through the door and stopped in her tracks when she saw the two boys cuddled up together.

Richies body was flush against Eddies, their legs tangled together as Richies arms were tightly wrapped around Eddies torso, practically using his chest as a pillow. Their hands had also somehow found their way to each other and were intertwined next to them on the couch, their soft breathing being the only sound filling the room, that was up until Eddies mother spoke.

"Eddie??"

They both suddenly jolted awake, Richie blinking dumbly and whining as he buried his face deeper into Eddies shirt, since he was still half-asleep and wasn't fully aware that Sonia was standing right there. Eddies eyes widened as he saw his mother with an impatient and angry look on her face, he quickly tapped Richies shoulder, which then turned into him practically shaking Richie so that he'd get off of him and realise what was happening.

Richie groaned and pulled his heavy weight off of his boyfriend, sitting back on the other side of the couch as he straightened his lopsided glasses before turning his head to where Eddies mom was standing, now realising what was going on.

"Oh hey Mrs.K.. good night out hitting the clubs..?" he joked, which received no laughter, just Eddie eagerly dragging him off the couch and shoving him towards the stairs.

Richie got the hint and quickly hurried upstairs to Eddies room, knowing that if Eddie was gonna sort this out he needed to do it alone without the input of Richies babbling trashmouth. He waited for quite awhile, hearing the faint sound of their voices coming from downstairs but not being able to make out what they were saying, it was nerve-racking as hell but Richie knew Eddie would figure something out, he was smart and besides, it wasn't that bad— apart from the fact that Sonia didn't really allow Eddie to have people over, especially Richie— they were just cuddling, and best friends cuddled sometimes, so it was okay.

"Alright, it's all good, you can stay.." Eddie began, opening his bedroom door before closing it behind him, "although she thinks you're homeless now and have been kicked out of your house, so.."

Richie snorted a laugh, sitting down on Eddies bed, "you gotta start working on your excuses, Ed's, also that's a relief, I almost thought I was gonna have to go down there and seduce her or something."

"Ew, Richie! That's my mom!"

"Damn, she's got a hot son too."

"Idiot.."

Eddie then walked over to Richie and muttered out a little "move", slightly pushing him aside as he got onto the bed, Richie eagerly crawling to the other side. To Richies disappointment, Eddie just quickly turned off his lamp and buried his face into the covers, closing his eyes. Richie pouted and poked his boyfriends side.

"What?"

"Make out with me."

"Rich— I'm tired, it's almost like twelve in the morning."

"Okay, cuddle with me."

Eddie sighed, shifting his weight against the bed, "god you're so needy.." he huffed but lifted his arm anyway so that Richie could shuffle closer to him and smush his face into Eddies chest. Eddie was almost ready to try and sleep again, until he felt Richies massive coke bottle glasses pressing uncomfortably against his chest, "give me your glasses," he urged, tugging on Richies shirt, earning an irritated groan from him. Richie drowsily obliged, lifting his head a little to slip off his glasses and shove them into Eddies hand who then carefully put them on the nightstand.
