Chapter 17

*time skip a few days*

It had been three whole days since Eddie and Richie had talked, Richie planned on talking to Eddie at school but they just both seemed to ignore each other, even when walking past one another in the halls.

At lunch Richie didn't sit with them, freaking out when he saw Eddie sitting there because the thought of telling him scared him so much. Instead he just ate in the bathroom stall, where all the loners hung out.

It was now Friday and Richie was getting some things out of his locker for fourth period, his eyes dull and tired from not being able to sleep the past few nights. Richie then closed his locker door and jumped back in shock when he saw Eddie behind it, leaning against the wall.

"Holy shit!" Richie screamed, taking a step back.

"I see you got your glasses fixed.." Eddie said quietly, seeing Richies coke bottle glasses back on his face.

Richie looked down at the floor nervously, "uhh.. yeah."

"The other ones didn't make your eyes look as big.." Eddie mumbled, "um thanks?" Richie replied, raising an eyebrow.

Both of them then went silent, Eddie trying to avoid eye contact with his boyfriend.

"You know what? I don't get you Eddie.. I literally sucked your dick and then you ignore me for like what, three whole days?!" Richie whisper-shouted, finally breaking the silence.

Eddie looked up at him with a frown on his face, "oh i'm sorry? Are you forgetting about the part where you ignored me too?? You know none of this would've happened if you hadn't gone off to play stupid games with Connor Bowers!"

"So it's my fault now? Am I not allowed to have friends?" Richie spat, throwing his hand in the air just to put it back down.

"I never said that! It's just pretty dumb that you'd rather go off with Henry Bowers' cousin than come talk to your boyfriend!"

Richie sighed, "I couldn't because I was too scared to tell you that— that uhh.."

"What? Too scared to tell me what Rich?" Eddie asked, taking a step closer to Richie.

"He kissed me okay?!" Richie yelled, coming out louder than he intended, everyone around them going silent and staring at them.

Eddie stood there in shock, his mouth wide open, "i'm sorry— I have to go," Richie said, sounding upset before disappearing down the hall.

Eddie was about to say something but realised it was too late when Richie had already gone, he looked around at everyone who was still staring at him and gulped, quickly walking off to his next class.

*time skip to after school*

Richie walked through the school doors, sighing as he walked down the steps and towards his bike, "Richie..! Rich!"

Richie quickly turned his face to see Eddie running towards him, causing Richie to have to grab his boyfriend by the shoulders in order to stop Eddie from crashing into him, "thanks.." he said, looking up at him.

"hey Rich.. I think we should talk about what happened earlier.." Eddie sighed.

Richie adjusted his glasses, scanning Eddies face before nodding, "wanna come back to mine..?" he asked, tilting his head.
