"Just one date. Please! Pretty pleaseee" Jordan begged from behind me as I was walking to my class.

"I said no, Jordan. I don't want to date at the moment" I told him with a groan.

"Great! Me neither. We're a perfect match then" he said cheekily.

"Why can't we be just friends? I've literaly haven't been to this school not even three full days"

"Look, Asher is really pissing me off right now and I need to prove to him that I can find the perfect date for his party, okay? Just say yes!"

"So, you want to use me huh?" I said playfully crossing my arms to my chest.

"Yes!" he exclaimed. "Wait, that sounded bad"

"Yes, yes it did." I said. "Besides, I'm pretty sure you can get any girl you want to be your date"

"Yeah, but I can't risk them catching feelings so that's why I need you"

"This has me so confused" I told him putting my head on my forehead.

"Just say yes. I promise I won't try anything"

I sighed. "Fine. When's the party?"

"This Friday. I'll see you there, babe. Thanks again" he said and gave my cheek a quick peck. "Oh. Also don't tell Asher about it. Okay?"

I nodded.

When he left I immediately noticed those familiar piercing green eyes on me.

Hero was leaning against the lockers, his hands on his pockets looking at me with a questioning look.

I slowly approached him. "Hey, if you heard I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone. Okay?" I told him.

He rolled his eyes and shook his head like he was always doing. Then he gave one last look and left.

Seriously, what's wrong with him?

My eyes followed him as I saw him entering my history classroom.

He is in my class? I never noticed him before.

I followed behind him and went in as well. I saw him take a seat in the back. He leaned back on his chair and put his headphones and his hood on blocking the rest of the world out. He stared at the window and crossed his arms to his chest.

I took my usual seat in the second row waiting for the class to start. The teacher came in and the lesson started.

After a few minutes I heard some laughter from the back of the class. I looked behind me and I saw some jocks throwing paper balls at Hero. He had his head low as he was trying to take notes silently.

The teacher asked for silence and they all stopped for a few minutes. After a while I heard laughter again. This time two dudes were writing something down on paper while giggling at it.

Then one of them tapped Hero on the shoulder so he could look at them. When he turned his head inncoently to them, they stuck a piece of paper on his forehead.

"Look! He finally came out! A round of applause for our king everyone!" The guy said and the whole class started laughing and clapping their hands.

Hero seemed confused like he always did. I quickly took a look at the piece of paper the had stuck to his head. It said: 'RETARTED AND PROUD'

The teacher asked for silence but the class didn't seem to follow orders that day. They kept laughing.

Hero took the piece of paper in his hands and finally read it. He pressed his lips together and then scrumbled the paper in his hands. He gritted his teeth and took deep breaths like he was trying to calm himself from snapping at them.
