#15: Cole's POV

"Cerberus, what's even the point of what Lloyd's doing?"

The half snake-like woman turned to me with a sharp glare.

I must've said something wrong, I knew what he was doing.

Seeing Arlette hurt was on my mind that I had forgotten the task at hand.

"Cole."

I looked up towards Cerberus with a distressed look on my face.

"Everything's gonna be alright, you just need to have faith."

"Faith?" I asked looking at her.

"Yes faith, it's the only thing we have to hold onto during this time."

I barely had any faith left, but I couldn't dare tell Cerberus that.

Cerberus was, from what I heard Arlette's younger twin sister.

Why was she so calm in such a time like this?

Was this Arlette's doing? I couldn't be so sure.

But I had to believe Cerberus no matter what.

"You're so calm, how come?"

She laughed softly as I asked that question, "My sister taught me."

"Arlette?" I was surprised, "She taught you how to be calm?"

"She did, I never knew why she's always so calm, but I never have gotten the chance to ask."

"Hey, can I ask you one more thing?"

Cerberus looked over towards me and gave a small nod, "Sure, go for it."

"Is there anyone, besides your sister you would save if the world ended."

This surprised Cerberus as she looked at the Ninja currently there and then thought about Jay.

"Yes, and that would be Jay. He's been there for me when things concerning my sister had been tough, he's been there for me when I had little to no hope at all."

"What I'm saying is that I really love Jay and I hope he's alright."

Jay. . .

Jay the lightning ninja was Cerberus' crush and if he heard her he'd lose his mind.

"I hope so too."

This made the small group go quiet, Cerberus was in tears as the thoughts rushed through her mind.

I noticed and frowned, I needed to help her somehow.

What can I do? What can I say?
