Daniel's POV:
We made it to a huge ware house. We went inside. "Ok. The tracking chip is here somewhere. Look for anything that might help us." Jonah said.
We walked to the back and I went to the storage areas. Nothing.
We looked for an hour. Nothing.
I felt tears come. We were too late. "Hey. You ok?" Jonah said, walking forward. Then he tripped over.
"What the-?" He said.
I pulled back the rug. It was a trapdoor. "I guess that's our destination." I said, trying to joke. He nodded and took a deep breath.
We lifted up the hatch. It was a stair case going down. I took a photo and sent it to the others. Then we went down the stairs.
About fifteen minutes later, we were in a dark hallway. We couldn't turn out flashlights on, because we couldn't get caught. We were so close.
Jonah had his phone light dimmed, and was tracking the chip. The reception was Gad here, so it wasn't working properly.
He put his phone away. "Looks like we have to do this old- school." He said.
We walked down the hall, quietly calling out Ali's name.
There were so many twists and turns, I was scared we were going to get lost.
Suddenly, I heard someone crying. "Ali?" I whispered.
A face appeared in the window of a door. "Daniel! Over here!" She whispered.
I ran over. "I'm going to get you out!" I told her, then turned to Jonah.
"Jonah, go back until you get reception and call the others." I said. He nodded, then ran back.
I got a bit of wire I brought with me and started picking the lock. It clicked, but then the wire snapped. "Ali, I need something to lick the lock with." I said, starting to panic.
She looked scared, then brightened up. "This is what I did at Girl Scouts." She said, pulling out her earring and hanging it to me.
I shoved it in the lock. The lock broke. I pulled back the deadbolts and the door swing open.
