Chapter Thirty - Five

It took me awhile to write this chapter. It has over 11,500+ words. The longest chapter I ever wrote. So uh, I guess you get comfortable, go lay down or grab a snack while reading .

I fit all my remaining ideas here in one chapter so the scenes basically changes quick and so on.

Also I don't know shit about medical informations so just bare with whatever I wrote here and pretend it's a thing. Hehe

Hyungwon's heart was painfully pounding in his chest as he frantically get out of the car and run towards the hospital entrance. Wonho and Changkyun who accompanied him trailing quickly right behind him.

He can't really feel his legs, it was heavy and numb at every step. But he tried all his might to run as fast as he can, ignoring the fact that he might just collapse right then and there.

"Le.. Lee Minhyuk... Lee Minhyuk.."

Hyungwon said the moment he arrived at the hospital's front desk. He was stumbling with his words and he can't say anything else other than the man's given name. His hands shaking and his eyes wide, his pupils shaking in obvious fear.

The nurse behind the desk was genuinely surprised as the tall man practically slammed himself at the desk separating them, it took her a few seconds late before she was able to answer.

"Are you Mr.Lee's relative?" The nurse asked professionally.

It took all of Hyungwon's fiber not to slammed his hands down and shout at her that he needed to know where Minhyuk is and does not have time for any questions.

"Yes.. Yes... I'm his fiance. Where is he?" He frantically answered instead. Almost losing his breath because of the fear that's pumping through his veins. Not caring for the fact that he is no longer Minhyuk's fiance.

"He's currently in the emergen...." Hyungwon didn't wait for her to finished, he pushed himself away from the front desk and quickly run, despite not really knowing where to go. His mind was fuzzy and frantic that it didn't registered to him where the emergency room actually was. He had been really grateful that Changkyun had hold his arm and pulled him to the right direction. Wonho was still there, just peacefully trailing behind them. But even the older can't hide his own worry and fear.

They arrived by the hallway just outside the emergency room, a nurse telling them to wait outside for no one was allowed to be inside while the surgery is on going.

Surgery.

Minhyuk is going through surgery. He just got into a very terrible accident. His car drove over the hedges and fell on the side of a cliff. Hyungwon didn't know anything else other than that. He had hanged up after he was informed of the place where Minhyuk is.

Hyungwon can't express the fear and worry that run through his body when he was informed of Minhyuk being involved in an accident. He had been on Minhyuk's emergency dial so the responders had called him. His heart dropped when he heard about the news, he didn't waste anytime to run and try to get to him. It was very fortunate that both Wonho and Changkyun had been at home to help him get at the hospital.

"Hyung, I think you should sit down first..." He heard the gentle voice of Changkyun said. The younger gently pulled him to sit on one of the waiting chairs outside the Emergency room.

Hyungwon felt his legs give out, his whole self flopping down on the chair. His eyes were trained on the doors where they hid Minhyuk on the other side. He wanted to kicked it down and go to him but at the same time he didn't want to. He's scared. He's scared to see Minhyuk at such a devastating state.
