It was the next day and Laura was in her bedroom primping for her bridal shower.

She wore a sparkling white dress with a pair of gold heels, gold hoop earrings and a purple bracelet.

Her short black hair shined brightly as the sunlight shined on it and her makeup was done very naturally but had pink lipstick on her lips.

Laura walked down the staircase that led into the living room and she saw her fiancé Steve sitting on the couch reading a book.

When Steve heard the heels on the steps he looked up from his book and saw his fiancé in her good clothes.

"You look absolutely beautiful sweetums." said Steve as he got up from the couch to hug Laura.

"Thanks Steve." said Laura as she returned the hug.

"You excited for your bridal shower?" asked Steve

"Yeah I am." said Laura.

Harriet came downstairs wearing a all pink dress with matching jacket and black heels.

"Come on Laura, we don't want to be late." said Harriet as she got her car keys and purse.

The Winslow women said goodbye to Steve and started to walk to the car.

After a while, Laura and Harriet arrived at Chez Josephine's and walked into the crystal room.

They were greeted by the hostess who showed them to the crystal room where the party was being held in.

The room was decorated in blue and purple balloons, the tablecloths on every table had white lilies in crystal vases.

Laura's bridesmaids Maxine, Myrtle, Greta, Casey and Donna were standing under a sign that said Congratulations Laura.

Laura gave her friends a huge group hug and then the guests started to arrive into the room.

The guests gave Laura tons of gifts and enjoyed their meal until it was time to leave.

Laura hugged her bridesmaids goodbye before leaving with Harriet.
