"You excited for your slumber party sweetheart?" asked Carl.
"Yeah I am but I'm even more excited about the wedding tomorrow." said Laura as she moved the coffee table out of the way.
"Where's Steve?" asked Carl.
"He and his groomsmen are having their own slumber party at Eddie's apartment." said Laura.
The doorbell rang and Laura went to answer it.
"Hi Laura." said Gwendolyn as she gave her old next-door neighbor a hug.
"Hi Gwendolyn. Are you excited for tomorrow?" asked Laura.
"Yeah." said Gwendolyn.
Two minutes later, the doorbell rang and Laura went to answer it.
"Hey Winslow!" said Donna as she gave Laura a hug.
"Hey Donna. Come on in." said Laura as she took her bags.
Five minutes later, Maxine and Kelsey arrived and with two huge pizza boxes.
"Looks yummy." said Laura as she took the boxes.
Ten minutes later, Casey arrives with a packet of Popcorn to pop for the movie.
"I brought my beauty kit." said Greta as she wheeled it into the living room.
Myrtle is the last one to arrive with the movie she rented from the video store.
"I have the perfect movie to get us in the mood for the wedding." said Myrtle as she came in with her bridesmaid dress, video and overnight bag.
"What movie did you bring?" asked Laura.
"Father of the Bride." said Myrtle.
"You mean the one with Elizabeth Taylor or the one with Steve Martin?" asked Maxine.
"The one with Steve Martin." said Myrtle.
"I'll go make the popcorn." said Casey as she walked into the kitchen.
Casey took her bag of popcorn into the kitchen to put it in the microwave.
The girls decided to wait until the popcorn was popped to watch the movie.
Five minutes later, the popcorn was ready and Myrtle put the video tape in the VCR.
Two hours later, the movie finished and everyone decided to put on their pajamas and do beauty treatments.
Maxine who passed her beauty school exam decided to give everyone manicures, pedicures and facials.
She painted everyone's nails purple and did a facial treatment for each of the bridesmaids and flower girls.
"Oh my stars and garters. It's already ten o' clock." said Myrtle as she looked at her watch.
"We better get some sleep. We wanna look our best in the wedding pictures tomorrow." said Laura as she turned out the light.
"Goodnight ladies." said Laura.
"Goodnight." said the girls.
They got in their sleeping bags and started to fall asleep.
