It was a few months after Steve testified against Myra in court and today was his 22nd birthday.
Steve's parents flew all the way from Russia to celebrate and help the Winslows set up his birthday party.
Carl decided to take Steve to Cheesetown so the family had plenty of time to get the decorations, food and music ready when they got home.
The guests started to arrive and put the presents in the living room.
A few hours later, Richie saw Carl's car pull up in the driveway.
"They're here." said Richie.
"Everyone hide!" said Harriette.
The guests hid behind the couch as Laura turned off the lights.
Carl and Steve walked into the dark house.
"Who turned out the lights?" asked Steve.
Five seconds later, the lights turned on and the guests shouted "Surprise!"
Steve was so surprised that he almost fainted.
The party went on for three hours and then the guests started to leave.
"Steve, This gift is for you." said Laura as she handed him the envelope.
Steve opened the envelope and it was a birthday card with a picture of a cake and balloons.
He opened the card and saw two plane tickets to Switzerland dated the day after their wedding day.
"I planned our 2 month honeymoon in Switzerland." said Laura.
"Thank you sweetums. I love it." said Steve as he hugged his fiancé.
The rest of the family started to clean up after the party guests.
