I look at you and you see me
my imperfections
my flaws
and even my soul
you see things in me that i hide
you see through my disguise and my lies
you accept me for who i am
and thats all i ask of anyone
but surprisingly... you take it a step further
you calm me when im upset
you pick me up when im down
you comfort me when i cry
but you walk away every time
you go back to your love
the person you have given your heart to
a person that i love dearly as well
so i sit in waiting
i yearn for the day that maybe i will be the one that completes you
and i beat myself up for it everyday
because you two are so in love
so i sit in wait
talking and loving like normal
praying you might be mine
and hoping that you and she might never end
