I woke up late today I am behind from training, I freshen up quickly and get changed swiftly so I can immediately go to the training facility. "Dridhem." I murmured and I was transported within the hall. Everybody is training already but, something peculiar is not happening. Nobody's practicing the dark light spell that I created, I immediately jogged towards Dylan and gave him a peck. "Babe, did you ban the dark light spell completely?" I asked and, Dylan pulled me to a corner where no one can heat us. "No and, you can't talk about it anymore." He said. "It's too dangerous to use so, we removed it from everybody's memory. Only you, me, Keith, Elise and Darius know aboutthis spell. Don't use in in training as well." He said but, I saw Darius practicing it in the form of his shadow orbs. "But, Darius is using it right now." I told Dylan. "He cloaked his practice in the form of his signature shadow orbs. He's trying to learn how to control dark light and also trying to lessen the mana usage that it requires." He explained. "So it means, I can ptactice and enhance it in plain sight, got it." I ran from him and he jusy shook his head at me in disbelief.

It's been a week, that I've been practicing dark light magic. The last week was just, creating different forms with it so I'll learn which method is the best and cost lesser mana. At first, I formed it daggers that I can manipulate by my mind but, Ineed something that I can mass produce, hard to dodge, cause massive damage and can be used as a defense. So I developed an artifact made of dark light in a form of a rose, I call it "The Black Rose." I mentally prepared myself to use this artifact, I used it before but, there are instances that I am having a hard time to control it. I sighed heavily and cleared my mind and chanted. "Sev vard, yevs mek tsaghkum." The rose lit up and petals started to shred until there's nothing left on the stem. I am now surrounded by black petals, I manipulate them by hand gestures. I focused more and invision them to double in number, the petals cloned itself and I smiled for this is exactly what I had in my mind. I tried to envision using only three petals, all the excess merged into the original petals. Right after, the excess number of petals returned to the stem leaving only three for me to manipulate. "Good, it's following all my command." I breathe as my body release the tension due to nervousness. I practice manipulating my new found technic with the few that remained suddenly, a bush near me started to rustle and I was startled. I think defensively and the three petals quickly strike to the direction of the bush. A deer emerged struggling in pain as the dark light slowly started to spread on it's skin, I ran to the deer quickly and try to aid it with a cleansing spell. The spell only made it worst by making it spread faster. "Come on, come on, get out of her body." I struggled and to my surprised the light started to backtrack and the next thing I knew, the petals came out from it's body and float around me again. "So, the dark light can be removed only by the will of its caster. Meaning..." I halted, and think for a second. "Shit, I didn't made a new spell, it's a curse!" I whisper shout, the others need to know about this. I thought to myself. "Veradarrnal." I whispered, the remaining petals returned and the Black Rose stopped from glowing. I hastily ran and perform the flicker spell to imform the squad about my discovery.

When I came back to the mansion, I gathered everyone and told them what I found out about dark light magic. We are in the middle of a discussion when Elijah popped out of nowhere catching his breath. "I barely made it out alive but, I know where V is." He said. "We need to move fast, they'll be moving out tonight." He finished. "Y'all sent Eli to that death trap?" I exclaimed. "Well Eli is not registered nobody there knew him." Dylan explained. "Chill Kyle, I was just exaggerating. Nobody saw me, fast as lightning yuh." Eli said confidently. "Not so cool after all if you died in there huh?" I bitterly snapped at him and his face went blank. "Sev vard, yevs mek tsaghkum." I chanted and a swarm of dark light petals, I read Eli's mind to know V's location. "Go, and make sure that they won't leave that place." I said without any emotions, the swarm went away and do my bidding. "What was that?" Eli and Darius said in unison. "That's my master magic, The Curse of the Black Rose. I won't teach anyone tho, it's too dangerous." I told them. "No fair!" Darius protested. "I have my petal swarm, you have your shadow orbs, fair enough." I told him, the thought of V is making my blood boil, I just want to be alone for a moment. "Jıpılıqtaw." I whispered and a familiar light embraced me, everybody in the room tried to stop me but, in a matter of seconds, I'm gone. I smiled as I walk through the icy forest around me. "Finally, Norway." I always wanted to see the northern lights and this area is ahead of time from the US so, I still have time to calm myself before I go to battle. Built a comfortable igloo with clear glass like ice as a roof so I'll see the lights perfectly. I went to town to buy food and a few supplies, for my retreat. I felt a magical presence around me, I always keep my original petals with me so I alert them to defend just in case.
