New Friends
I wandered around the Temple, exploring, waiting for Master Obi-Wan to call me. I was meandering down a hallway, when I saw none other than Master Windu and Master Yoda. I bowed my head in respect, but didn't say anything.
"Young Kalar," Master Windu said to me, "Master Yoda and I would like you to meet someone."
"Uhh, sure," I said cautiously. I still didn't fully trust them. I mean, I had just come here, like two days ago.
"Come," Master Yoda said, beckoning for me to follow. I followed them, walking a respectful distance behind them. After a couple minutes, we came to a small room. I turned to Yoda.
"Wait, you will," Master Yoda said, before walking away again. I shrugged, then started to look around the room. There wasn't really anything interesting to look at. Just four chairs, a table and a window. I walked over to the window and looked out. There was nothing but a lot of traffic. There were no trees, no life right outside. I was starting to feel trapped, like the frogish thing Jonathan had caught when he was quite young. I wanted to go home, where it was safe. If I could only-
Master Yoda and Master Windu came into the room, with a girl around my age. I looked at Windu, confused. He immediately started explaining.
"We thought you might be lonely," he said. "If you want, you can be friends with her." (I know this isn't really how he talks, but I couldn't think of anything.) I turned to the girl.
"Hi!" I said, enthusiastically.
"Hi!" she said. "What's your name?"
"Amaris. What's yours?"
"Alianna," the girl said. "I like your name. It's beautiful!"
"Thanks! I like yours too! So, where are you from?"
"Jakku."
"Isn't that a desert planet?" Alianna nodded. "I'm from Illeara." Alianna looked at me, confused.
"Illeara?" she asked.
"It's an out of the way planet that no one used to know about. Until the war at least." Alianna nodded.
We continued to talk until it was time to go to dinner. (Honestly don't know what I think of this). During dinner, I sat between Alianna and Anakin. (Oh boy all "a" names what have I done). Then, after dinner, we went and did our own things.
I'm not really happy with this chapter, but oh well. I'll live with it for now.
