And There Were 10(Part 1)

So here's the beginning there might be OOC Ben so I apologize in advance!!! Also there are gonna be some Oc Characters so to let you know!!!

Also Grandpa Max knows about the Vampire thing and Gwen learns later on!!!

Jen's POV

"Jen are you dressed yet? Cause you need to make and eat breakfast or your gonna be late for school!" Shouted my dad as I just slung my backpack over my shoulder

"I'm coming dad! And I better not find you attempting to cook! Last time you almost burn down the entire house!" I shouted as I made my way down the stairs

My name is Jennifer Kirby Tennyson but mostly everyone calls me Jen I'm currently 10 years old soon turning eleven as today was my last day of school

I have short chocolate brown hair with two chin-length bangs framing my face and toxic green eyes as I wore a white shirt with black stripes, dark green cargo pants and black n' white tennis shoes even though I was still very young many say I'm very beautiful even though I deny it

"Alright I will just have to make some eggs and toast cause I really need to get going" I told dad tiredly as I started getting breakfast ready

"Anything you make is always wonderful honey and I'm definitely going to miss your cooking" said dad with a sad face

Carl Tennyson is my dad's name he had short brown hair the same and dark brown eyes he was a very successful Plummer but he is horrible at cooking that he was practically banned from the kitchen

"So Mom, Jack, Ren and Uncle Mathew are sleeping in right now?" I couldn't help but ask since it only me and dad during the day

"You know that those 4 can't handle sunlight being Vampires and all" he said offhandedly looking at a specific door

That's right my family are Vampires but dad is a human and my mother, older brother, Uncle and cousin are all Vampires but I'm somewhat of a special case

Not a lot of things about Vampires are true like having no reflection or changing into a bat but sunlight can kill us and we still drink blood but garlic is awful to Vampires because of their sensitive nose

But each Vampire has a Blood-Affinity which means we have a certain preference of blood we drink but it depends on who we drink

My mother drinks 'Liars Blood' which means the people she drinks from who lie a lot will start being honest and start telling the truth but the affects only work for short periods of time

*Mom's Blood-Affinity is 'Liars-Blood'

*Jack(older brother) Blood-Affinity is 'Stress-Blood'

*Uncle Mathew Blood-Affinity is 'Pride-Blood'

*Cousin Renatus(Ren) hasn't fully awaken yet so we don't know his Blood-Affinity

But for some reason I'm not a normal in my family since I'm totally unaffected by sunlight and haven't shown any signs of awakening as a Vampire yet even though it usually happens when a Vampire turns 13 so I have to wait another two years to see if I awaken

As the two of us ate in comforting silence as the house was quite as usual even though there were 6 of us living here

"Jen Grandpa Max is going to pick you up after school for you summer road-trip with him, alright" he told me as I nodded happily

"I can't wait for it! I worked so hard to be able to go!" I told him happily as I finished my breakfast and put my dishes in the sink

"Also Grandpa Max knows about our 'Vampire situation' and your mother wanted me to tell you if anything supernatural happens to you or if you awaken early during your road trip to call us right away" he told me seriously as I nodded my head in understanding

"Well I'm going to school! Bye dad see you next school year!" I told him sincerely as he waved goodbye with a sad smile on his face

As I walked down the dirt road as my house was a mansion on a big hill hidden by a barrier so humans wouldn't find it

I didn't notice but for some reason my eyes sting a little I didn't think that they were not toxic green but blood ruby red for split second
