And There Were 10(Part 2)

Jen's POV

I was in class as I stared intently at the clock waiting for the class to be finally over so I could meet up with Grandpa Max

"Jen just five more minutes until Summer starts!" Whispered a girl who was sitting next to me as I gave her a kind smile

The girl was Maris Anderson she had red hair pulled into a pony tail and blue eyes she was my best friend since kindergarten and always stood by my side it helps that we always share the same classes

Then the bell rang as the excitement was bursting out of me as I practically flew out of the door as I went straight to the school entrance as I waited for Grandpa Max to pick me up

Then I saw two families faces as someone was getting picked on as the two bullies were Cash Murray and JT who were hanging a kid on branch by his underwear

'What should I do?! Should I stopped them?! I'm out numbered and they are always mean to me!!!' I couldn't but think as I wanted to save the kid but I think I will cause more harm than good

"Hey look it's Tennyson!" Shouted Cash as I felt myself freeze up at my surname being said out like that as I knew something bad was about to happen to me

"Hey why help that loser when you can hang out with us" asked Cash as he and his buddy cornered me as my back hit the wall that was behind me

"Um... I'm s-sorry but... I h-have to w-wait for... my grandpa...t-to pick me up" I told them trying my best not to snap at them

"Leave Jen alone!!! You morons!!!" Shouted Maris as she came out of no where and punched Jt right in the gut as he fell over as she looked completely pissed off as she took a deep breath

"TEACHER!!!! TWO BOYS ARE BULLING ANOTHER STUDENT!!!AND THEY ARE HARASSING MY FRIEND!!!" She yelled at the top of her lungs as both Cash and JT made a run for it

"Maris thank you for helping me!" I told her gratefully as a teacher came down running helping the guy who was hanging from the tree

"Of course your my best friend! And those two jerks needed to be put in their places!" She told bluntly as I just gave her a grateful smile

Maris Anderson was always so strong as far as I could remember she was stronger than all the guys in our grade and she studied judo

As a familiar RV as I couldn't help but smile at as it stopped next to the two of us as the window was brought down to reveal an elderly man with grey hair and a red Hawaiian shirt

"Hey Kiddo ready time kick off this summer road trip? Cause we're burning daylight! I wanna get to the campsite before nightfall!" Said grandpa as I couldn't help but smile as I turned towards Maris as I gave her a hug

"I'll see you when I get back!" I told her as she gave an expression that said 'you've better' as I opened the door to the RV as I saw someone sitting on the couch

A girl with short red hair and green eyes as she wore  a blue raglan shirt with a cat logo on her chest, white capris and a pair of white shoes with dark blue stripes

"Gwen what are you doing here?" I couldn't help but ask her in surprise as she looked upset

"Well this wasn't my idea, somebody convinced my mom that going camping for the summer will be a good experience for me" she said giving a pointed look at Grandpa Max

"Grandpa you didn't" I asked him as I gave him a pleading look

"I thought it would be fun if your cousin came along with us this summer" he said with a smile "is that a problem?" He asked me and Gwen gave side glances at each other in worry

'This is going to be a looong summer' I couldn't help but think
