I wonder if Alex still lives here in Thailand. I haven't been here since I was 18, 5 years ago, exactly how long ago I've seen him. My parents and sister still live here while I live in Bulgaria. They always come to visit me because I have a tight schedule with the university and my part-time job.
"Earth to Y/n," my sister, Tessa, says for the millionth time. She is standing in front of me with a white, long patterned wedding dress. She looks amazing in it.
It is a strapless dress with a small flower-like pattern on the upper part of her body until just above her hips. I smile at her, not knowing what to say because this is the seventh dress she has put on.
"You look absolutely stunning, Tes," I say hoping to go home, where mom and dad are waiting for us, they have something important to tell us. She looks in the mirror and a tear slip from her eyes. I stand up and give her a hug.
A tear slips from my face. All of our memories come rushing, making more tears fall. "I'm so proud of you. You have become this wonderful, funny, emotional, caring, sweet, strong, and beautiful woman. I am so blessed to have you as my sister. I love you, sis."
"Love you too. Sisters for life."
"Are you sure Brad is the one? There is absolutely no problem with him, it's just that it has only been a year of dating." I look up at her seeing her only smile at herself in the mirror admiring the dress she has on.
"Y/n, I don't expect you to understand," she looks at me, "But I really love Brad since I started to get to know him and maybe someday you'll also experience that love." Trust me, Tess, I did experience that love.

We finally walk into our childhood home, all the memories flooding in. I missed this place. I walk past all of the pictures through the years. One picture catches my attention with a plain black wooden frame. It is a picture of me and Alex when we were 17. I was head over heels in love with him but sadly I went to Bulgaria and he started his journey to Formula 1 a year later. We never dated because I was too scared and dumb for no reason and now he has moved on.
"You know, I invited him to the wedding," I hear my mom's voice from over my shoulder. I wrap my arms quickly around her. I have missed her so much.
"Wait... What did you just say? You invited Alex? Why?" I ask, letting her go.
"Did you forget that Alex's mom and I are best friends?" My mom asks laughing at me and walk to the kitchen with me following her like a lost puppy.
"Is he coming?" I ask fidgeting with my fingers while my mom is cutting vegetables, probably for tonight's dinner.
"Yes, he is and his sisters too," she looks up smiling at me, knowing that me and Alex had chemistry.
"And she invited them for dinner tonight," Tessa came in with her hands linked with Brad. My eyes widen and I look at my mom knowing that it isn't a joke but I chuckle anyway.
"I should've known... Hey, Brad." I say smiling at Brad, while everyone laughs.
"Well, Brad and I have to go to the shops. See you guys later," Tessa says and left with Brad.
"They are so in love," mom says, walking towards me," I have something to tell you, Sweetheart."
" Y/n!" Dad shouts when the front door opens. I run to him and give him a big hug. "How are you?"
"Not bad."
"Go get ready for the dinner, they are coming in 30 minutes."
"Love, will you come to help me in the kitchen?" Dad nods and goes to the kitchen with her.
