This is me! I'm 20 years old, and I live in Washington D.C. I'm the type of girl that most people underestimate (mostly for my gender,) but trust me when I say that I am not one to be messed with. I've been in and out of Martial Arts, Gymnastics, and Self Defense classes since I was 8. I'm a Black Belt, I've won Gold metals, and I can take down a 6-foot tall man.
To put it simply, I've got skills.
For the longest time, I was just a normal person. I worked at a book shop for a while, and then I started a job as a barista at a coffee shop. That is, until I got a mysterious call from a company claiming they had the perfect job for me.
Let's just say that I did not expect to be asked to become a spy. But that's exactly what happened. At first, I was sceptical. A spy? Me!? But eventually, I trained to become the best spy in the agency.
Well, one of the best.
I ended up becoming partners of one of the most annoying men in the entire world.
Agent Lance Sterling.
He is nothing but an overconfident, disrespectful, cocky son of a gun. And why the Agency thought we would be a good match is a mystery to me. But we have a system.
As long as he makes no rude comments in my direction, and doesn't try to overstep my authority as his partner, then we get along great.
But when he insists on doing things solo, it gets pretty darn annoying. He says he doesn't need a partner, which makes me feel incompetent. But the agency forces us to work together.
If only I knew how it would change my life forever....
