Oh that feeling, that moment when you feel numb, when everything crashes down on you to the point where you can't feel anything, no pain, sadness, madness, absolutely nothing.
That's Alex Levy right now, her legs are moving, apparently getting her into the car, but she's not the one telling them to do that, in fact, if she had control over them she would tell them to run as fast as they can, to never stop, to help her escape this hell.
Her mind? Her mind is there, that place she kept ignoring for so long, the memories, about him.
She can hear the car running through the city, but it's not helping her escape, it's helping her go to hell.
Oh but her mind, her mind it's helping her escape from hell, to a different kind of hell, the kind you like even when you feel the burn.
Alex remembers the first time they crossed the line, the first time Mitch became something else, something that wasn't just her friend. Something that scared her, made her feel terrible and excited at the same time, and something that would lead to this disaster, something she regrets but wouldn't change.

2014
Alex was at her dressing room getting ready for the show, she looked at the clock, 6:45 it read. Fifteen minutes, that was enough, she just needed to find another dress, she stained her beautiful white dress with makeup, just what she needed.
Looking through the dresses she found an emerald dress that was perfect. She took off her white dress and put on the emerald one, as she was trying to zip it up she heard a knock on the door. She held the dress with one hand and opened the door with the other, it was Mitch.
"Oh thank god Mitch come on in, I need help here."
Mitch stepped inside and closed the door behind him.
"I thought you were wearing white today" he said looking at her.
"I was, but when I was getting my makeup done, I had an accident with the setting powder and well it's everywhere on the dress, but now come here ad zip me up." She said as she turned around and pushed her hair aside.
"Normal Alex Levy" Mitch said as he grabbed the zipper and pulled it up slowly, his fingers touching Alex's skin making her tense up.
"Sorry" he said as he fastened his movements and zipped her dress completely."Don't worry, thanks" Alex turned around and smiled at him.
"I should go, see you out there." Mitch turned and opened the door.
"Mitch wait!... what did you want?"
He turned around to face her. " what?"
"You came here for something right? Or you just knew I needed help with the dress?" Alex smiled.
"Oh yeah of course, I wanted to discuss something with you, it's personal, and you are the only one I trust here."
"What is it?"
"Can we discuss it later? We'll be on in a few minutes."
Alex looked at the clock, 6:55 it read. " Fuck, okay, after the show?"
"I have some things I need to do, maybe over dinner? My apartment?"
"Oh okay, yes that's fine with me."
"Okay then."
Mitch started walking out when he felt Alex following him, he turned around and smiled.
"What?" Alex asked.
"Shoes Alex, Shoes."
She looked down and smiled. "It's definitely not my day."
