Would it have been worth it?
I can't say for certain.
Do you believe in reincarnation?
I can't say for certain.
Would I have come back as something pretty? Something plain? Or perhaps a reflection in a puddle of rain?
Would I have been colorful or void? Something out or something in? Or perhaps something even in between?
Perhaps I'd be borrowed, perhaps I'd be blue. Perhaps I'd be the dirt on the sides of your shoe.
Maybe I'd be the sky or maybe the clouds. If I were the stars would you count us aloud?
Maybe I'd be the flowers, colorful and rare. If you saw me would you know? Pick me if you dare?
Or maybe I'd be your shadow, calm, dark, and serene. You may think you're all alone but I assure you you're seen.
So, would it be worth it? Can't you answer me that?
Or am I forced to find out, if it is for a fact.
