Skye’s POV

“What is THIS???” my father screamed, throwing the paper at me.

I looked down in confusion to see the headline read, “Skye Carter Cheating on Andy Moore with Harry Styles?”

Opening the page of the printed out website, I did a quick read through.

One Direction band member Harry Styles was spotted with Skye Carter at Manhattan mall yesterday. The presidential candidate’s daughter has no history with the British pop star, and even admits to hating the band, yet that didn’t stop her from slow dancing and kissing him! Harry has no comment on the incident so far, saying, “I’ll let her [Skye] explain.” We have tried to reach Skye, but she is also unavailable for comment.

Many fans of Skye’s are now outraged, saying that Harry “ruined Skandy,” Andy and Skye’s couple name. Andy has seen the pictures of the kiss, but he remains calm saying, “I know what it seems like, but I don’t know the whole story. I’m not going to assume anything until she [Skye] talks to me about it.”

In other news, Zayn has gotten another-

I stopped there and looked to my father in horror. I didn’t even think off the articles that would be run last night. All I had on my mind was the taste of his soft, sweet, lips on mi- stop it Skye! You have a boyfriend that apparently trusts you more than you deserve. My thoughts were quickly interrupted by another shout.

“I thought I told you to stay out of the tabloids! This is not good for my reputation! Were you even thinking Skye? Lexi wouldn’t have done this to my career,” he screamed at me, mumbling the last part under his breath.

“I didn’t make Harry kiss me! I got locked in a store with him and he caught me off guard! And don’t you DARE bring Lexi into this! I can’t help what happened to her and I can’t bring her back. Leave her out of this,” I whispered, tears silently straining down my face as I struggled not to remember. I had spent so long trying to forget, I couldn’t bring it back up now. I suddenly felt a pair of arms on my back.

“Shhh. Don’t cry, I’m sorry sweetie. I know it isn’t your fault. We both miss her, it’s okay,” he reassures me, rubbing the back of my hoodie in an attempt to calm me down.

“Yeah, okay,” I muttered, releasing myself from his embrace and stalking off, still pissed at his comment.

The sound of high heels clacking on tile filled the hallway as my best friend came running up to me.

“Skye CARTER! How dare you?” she exclaimed as I felt a sharp pain flash across my face. “You missed Andy’s party! To hang out with One Direction! You hate them! You kissed freaking Harry Styles on your boyfriend’s birthday! I thought you wanted to date Andy for more than the publicity!”

Shocked at her outburst, I calmly stated, “Samantha, I didn’t want to miss the party. I got locked in a store when fans ambushed us and Harry caught me off guard by kissing me. I love Andy, I always have.”

“Well then sorry for slapping you. You should go explain to him though because last time I saw him, he was a bit pissed,” she threatened.

“I was just going there when you attacked me!” I said, glaring at her. “Whatever. I’m going to go drive over there right now. See you later Sams.”
