Chapter 9 - "Adrien's feelings"

Adrien woke up at 7 o'clock. Plagg greeted him.

"Hello, Adrien. We have another beautiful day. Sun is shining, birds are singing and and camembert smells lovely."

"Hello, Plagg. Maybe you're right about the day, but my nose tells me that your camembert stinks as always and by the way, we're going to school today. I wasn't there yesterday, because of that stupid photoshoot, but I don't want to lose many lessons."

"Oh... my dear friends, teachers and the others. I don't want to lose them." Plagg tried to mimic Adrien's voice.

"Shut up, Plagg. You know very well that they are my only friends. Don't you have any friends?"

"Of course. For example I have sugarcube."

"Plagg, food doesn't count." said Adrien slightly irritated.

"SHE IS NOT A FOOD! DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?! DO NOT OFFEND HER IN MY PRESENCE OR I WILL USE CATACLYSM ON YOU LIKE I DID WITH DINOSAURS!" Plagg looked like he wanted to kill Adrien.
"What? Okay, okay, I understand. So who is she?"

"She's Ladybug's kwami."
"Oh....Tikki. Couldn't you just tell her name?"
"For me she's sugarcube." Plagg turned his back on Adrien.

"But what about the other kwamis?"
"I don't get on well only with one - Sass. We had a little conflict long time ago, but it doesn't matter now. Today is his birthday, but I won't go for his party. We have a patrol tonight."
"So at least send him a present. You should reconcile at least." There were dead silence in the room after those words.

"Oh, okay. I will give him piece of my cheese, but only if you tell me what will you do with your feelings towards Marinette. You've had enough time to consider that." Adrien blushed a bit.
"Oh, okay, you sneaky cat. I'm going to visit her tonight. I want to talk to her about everything."
"Finally, you're going to make a first step." Plagg claped woth his hands.
"What? No, I won't ask her if she want to be my girlfriend." Adrien's whole face turned into colour of tomato.
"I can easily see, that she's more than friend to you. Don't try to fool me."

"Okay, okay. I understood. I can't trick you, but can you stop talking about her?"

Suddenly they heard another voice.

"Adrien, it's time for breakfast." It was Nathalie's voice, so that meant that it was time to go school. Adrien ate scrambled eggs with bacon and went to the limousine.

Adrien's mind was absent in school, but nobody realised it. He could think about Marinette. He blushed everytime he looked at her face.

"She have so cute buns. I'd love to comb her hair. Wait... What am I thinking? After all I love Marinette... No, Ladynette... No, I mean Marinette... So... It is true... I love her, not Ladybug. What is important now, how should I tell her that? Give a rose? Sing something? Ask her out? Ahhhh... What's going on with my heart?!"

Lessons passed very fast. He couldn't focus on anything. He thought about Marinette's cute face, buns and her body. His mind melted in the last lesson. He no longer reacted to anything.
"Hey, dude. Do you hear me? Are you still with us?" Nino asked him, but he didn't answer, so he waved his hand in front of his face.

"Wh... What? Yeah, I'm here."

"I don't think so. Lesson ended 3 minutes ago and you didn't notice."
"Okay, I admit, I was thoughtful."
"Dude, you could even lost your head and you wouldn't notice that."

"Don't worry, buddy. I will be here until end of this school." said Adrien leaving the class.

He spent rest of the day at thinking about gift for Mari. He had many ideas, but at the end he decided to give her a rose.
"Plagg, do you think she will be happy if I give her a flower?"

"I think, she will be happy if you visit her. A flower will be just an additional accesory attached to you."

"Oh, thank you, Plagg. You're great friend after all." Adrien smiled widely.
"Thanks, Adrien, but I would be more greatful if you give camembert rather than smile."

"Oh, Plagg, you're always hungry, but it is already time to go. Plagg, claws out!"

Adrien tranformed into Chat Noir, took rose for Marinette and jumped out of a window.
