Rap music isn't as bad as you might thank. Yes she they talk about about the occasional pimping but if you listen beyond that you will hear sage old wisdom and people warning you not to make the same mistakes as they did. That and it's a good outlet for anyone.
The wisdom I hear from rap and hip hop is this..... 50 cent said, without pain there is no joy. And Snoop Dogg has said to pick up the peace's and be tougher than leather in his soon 2001, and Dre said even in defeat I raise to my feet.
The rappers are also ex cons I sometimes find that admit their mistakes and use music to warm people not to make the same mistakes as they did. Just passing on wisdom through music.
