Each morning, Beth called to ensure that things were flowing smoothly with the three remaining members of Mötley Crüe and their little blonde friend, to guarantee that they had all that they needed and weren't going hungry.
Or, so she said.
Christine wasn't stupid, though she wasn't exactly the brightest when a situation didn't pertain to mathematics, or matters that allowed her to apply her random, trivial knowledge.
She knew that Vince and his wife made sure to check in every morning--without fail, actually--because Beth was terrified that Christine or Tommy had set fire to the stove, or killed Nikki, or something.
Because despite being completely able bodied adults, they weren't the most cognizant. They were hapless and hopeless, and Chris had never successfully cooked a meal without burning anything.
Though, setting that apartment alight, might've done them all a favor, actually. It was a pigsty. It was dull and cruddy, and it had a complete life of its own.
And, perhaps it did. Because Nikki dabbled with all things occult, at one point, regardless of Beth expressing her disdain for such activities.

She'd been flicking through the few channels that'd somehow found their way into that beat-up old television, wondering how long it'd take for the bassist to provoke her.

"Oh, well. I've seen some apartment listings over in Fairfax." He produced a news paper and handed to her as she still fixated on the staticky channel, mindlessly taking it from him.
"Fairfax?" Christine all but choked, craning her neck to look back at him. "How much money did you think I saved up, Nikki?"
"Your parents are loaded." He deadpanned. "Surely your allowances were pretty comfortable, right?"
"Right." She watched him circle the couch, settling beside her. "But they stopped giving me half as much when I started to slack a little at school."
"But you still had a lot."
"Yeah, I did. I do. But I don't wanna be too hasty with just finding any old place, 'cuz if it's in an expensive area then the rent is gonna be ridiculous. And I probably only have enough to cover, like, six months. And that's not even covering groceries, or bills, or--"
