T.W. Remus being Remus.
Deceit looked around his room and sighed softly. He wanted something that would help to cover up his scales. He hated that he had snake scales covering one half of his body, and his eye was a different colour to everyone else's. He just wanted to appear normal, like all the other sides did.
He sighed and tried to use his deceptive skills to disguise himself, the way he would if he was acting as one of the other sides. Though he seemed to be running too low on energy and he was unable to change his eye colour, let alone half of his body.
He flinched as a knock sounded on his door. He knew he'd been expecting Remus to come by, but he was convinced it wasn't time for them to go on their date. Was it? He knew Remus loved him for who he was, but his scales were just weird and he didn't want to deal with them being there and annoying when he was supposed to be having a good time.
Typically, he'd cover them up when he had a date, but when it was any other day, he'd just let himself show them off. It gave him time to relax, while also not putting too much strain on his 'abilities'.
He walked over to the door and pulled it open, seeing Remus bouncing on the balls of his feet. He smiled at his boyfriend softly and held open his door, hoping that he'd be able to find something if he looked just once more.
Remus frowned and took Deceit's hand, gaining his attention. He wasn't sure what was wrong with his boyfriend, but something was definitely off.
"What's wrong, De?"
Deceit's human side flushed softly and he looked down. "I'm hideous, and all I'll be thinking about all night is how I can't hide my snake side..."
Remus smiled softly and cupped his cheek, running his thumb over a few of the scales. He couldn't care less about the half of Deceit that he was unsure of. He loved all of his boyfriend no matter what.
"No, you're not. I think you look handsome and I love every part of you."
Deceit shook his head and looked down, trying to find the words to tell Remus how wrong he was.
"It's true. I would bang you every day if it meant you believed me in the end."
Deceit rolled his eyes and pushed Remus out of his room. "Stop lying. That's my job."
Remus cackled and kissed Deceit's cheek softly. "I love you. Scales and all, double De."
Deceit smiled and pulled Remus closer to him, meeting his gaze. "Kiss me."
Remus smiled and kissed him softly, making a mental note to make sure he would do anything to keep Deceit happy. Even if it meant listening to him ramble about why he was so unattractive, just for Remus to kiss him again and again to reassure him that he was handsome. It would work out, he was sure of it.
