"You're acting weird."
His voice rang around Patton's head and he couldn't shake it. He hadn't meant to act weird, it's just he wasn't sure how much longer he could hide how he felt. He really liked Deceit and it wasn't fair that someone could look so good.
He sighed and lay down in bed, trying to get his mind around how he felt. Sure, he was good with Thomas' emotions, but he wasn't that good with his own. He never had been. Maybe talking it out with someone would help, but who could he talk to that wouldn't judge him?
Virgil would immediately go on the protective side. Roman would probably waffle on about how De was just a flirt. Remus would talk about sex. Logan wouldn't know enough about emotions to help him. That left Deceit...
He sat up and looked down. Deceit was a liar, but he could turn it off if he realised it was a serious situation... Maybe he should try and talk to him, see how far he got. It might just help him clear his mind, at least a little bit.
He sunk out of his room and made his way to Deceit's room. He just hoped it wouldn't get to be too bad. He wasn't sure he could handle things getting much worse in his own head. It sucked enough as it was.
He knocked on Deceit's door and shifted slightly. He just wanted it all to go away and to enjoy the time he was getting alone as of late.
"Patton?" Deceit stood leaning against the doorframe, his hat and cape had been taken off. "Are you okay?"
"I uh... Are you busy?"
"No?" Deceit stood aside and let Patton in, slightly worried about him.
"I really like someone, and I don't know who else to turn to. But I really don't know what to do..." Patton sat on Deceit's bed and looked at him.
"It would help if I knew who it was."
"I can't tell you..."
"Why not?"
"Personal, plus, you don't need to know..." Patton looked down.
"Patton, I know you don't want me to know, but it would really help."
Patton sighed and looked at Deceit, eyes scanning his face. "You..."
Deceit laughed softly and sat next to him. "You could've just said so from the start. What's been bothering you about it?"
"I don't know. I just keep thinking and I can't stop. It's giving me a headache and I'm tired. I just want to be able to sleep."
Deceit smiled and thought for a minute. "Why don't you sleep in here? We can just cuddle for a while, and if you still can't sleep, we can reassess?"
Patton nodded and lay down, relaxing considerably as Deceit held him loosely. He smiled to himself, and for the first time in a while, he fell asleep without an issue.
