It had been a few stagnant days since we have arrived at Zara's residence, and the information that she and her comrades have provided helped solidify what we had gotten. According to her sources, The Ender was to be making his way to this region within the next month or so. It seemed that he traveled to each city and assessed them once every few months. But not the smaller, farming cities. Those he left to his underlings.

"Zara, what can you tell me about the high families?" I asked, looking over a map of Perlaes.

"Well, there are 5 High families. There is Parker's family Algernon. Then there are the other houses; Luca, Findlay, Jynx, and Theta. Each head is directly beneath The Ender in terms of influence." Zara replied, pulling out a book from her shelf.

Zara set it on the table, on top of the map. I opened it and scanned through its pages. It appeared to be a detailed account of those close to The Ender, "Where did you get this?"

"It was in a pile when we attacked the Vault. It seemed valuable so I took it. When we stormed the Vault, we took as much as we could manage to carry and still be able to move. Only a few of us actually died inside the Vault. The others died from their injuries here, and now they reside in Empyr."

"I see. It has a lot of information. Right now, Parker and I have a fragment of a plan. If it works, we could get close to The Ender. Even possibly close enough that I can save Jazz or even the world."

"I see. May I ask to know what it is?"

My rune burned, "It involves the Algernon family. That is all we have plan wise, simply because it involves him. It won't be long until his father figures out that he is alive. So soon there could be many Algernons here or grunts of them. They will find Parker, so I need to make this plan work and not be improvised."

"I see. Any chance I can help?"

"I need to know how much time I have until they get here. Do you think someone could be sent to scout?"

"Well, technically Keir would be the best fit for the job, but I need him here. I have two bondmates here that could help. Their names are Cairo and Eden. One's imperio is intellect and the other's is telepathy. I can go ask them to scout near the entrances to the city and to report if they notice anybody. Perhaps I should make teams cause that would be good information to know if any High Houses come."

"I agree. Well, if they are good enough then I would say send them. Anyone else?"

"Another good one is Clary; she has clairvoyance along with the ability to create a force field."

"Clary?"

"Yes, Clary of the house Ayer." Zara nodded.

"I thought that all the Ayers were gone? I saw many of them murdered." I set down the book.

"Ah yes, all but one. Or so I have found."

Flipping through the pages, I landed on the information about the Algernons, Parker's family. There was a good chunk of information, such as ties and their role in the world. Bookmarking the page, I wanted to verify all the information with Parker.

"So," I started, "How soon could they begin to do some patrolling?"

"Depends on what exactly you want. Like sure, you can want to know when they get here, but that is something we can do remotely without people if we have to." Zara inquired, raising a brow.

"Can I get back to you on that? I guess what I want to know is when they arrive. But nothing else is really planned, as I have mentioned."

"Of course. How soon do you think they'll get here."
