THE TWINS

CHAPTER 5.

Breathing heavily was not a choice for the two. They say easy come, easy go but for Alex that was a dream come true. Who in their right mind, would turn down such a beautiful lady?

“Are you sure you want to do this Brenda? ” Alex whispered.

“I don't even know what I want. ” Brenda replied as their lips locked.

The kiss was long and passionate too. With that Alex could not tell whether he was into Brenda or she was into him. They stopped abruptly and laughed.

“What did we just do? ” Brenda asked giggling.

“I think we just kissed. ”

“Can we do it again? It feels magical. ” Brenda said.

Alex pulled Brenda closer to him and all he had was to forget the world outside them, roll his tongue inside Brenda's warm mouth. That was another memory to be associated with the poolside.

“You seem more of a good kisser. You have a girlfriend, right? ” Brenda asked.

“Maybe I look too big but I don't. Maybe you don't believe that but it's the truth. ” Alex said. The moment to him was so awkward and felt like he was in a simulation chamber. How could he open up to Brenda that fast? He was attracted to her though.

“I want to trust you on that. I really want to Alex. Hope you're not going to break my fragile heart. ” Brenda whispered and kissed him once again.

“Place it on my hands and I promise it will never get broken. ” he responded.

The heart to heart talk was too much for Alex, being romantic was a big and dark joke. He had seen his friends getting in and out of love, heartbroken and devastated. At the time, he had just received his Kenya certificate of primary education results waiting to join secondary school in a month’s time.

With the massive wealth, Vanessa would not imagine his sons attending either a cheap boarding or day school. To her, group of schools was built for families like hers'. They had also attended the same type of institution earlier.

“Haven't you been to school with these rich and beautiful kids? ” Brenda asked.

“Does that mean I should be dating someone right now? ”

“Not just one but several. I think you're irresistible and being this sweet would make someone fight to have you. ” Brenda said leaning on Alex's shoulder.

The moment felt too much of acting than reality. And if it continued he'd be sure they had their land on Area 51.

“I've never thought of that actually. That feels so stupid of me, right? ” he asked.

“Alex dear, no! You never know why things happen the way they do. ”

Suddenly, Alex's phone beeped and he chose to ignore that but it beeped the second and a third time. He definitely knew that was Vanessa. She couldn't come to think of it how anyone under her would ignore her call.

“You need to take that. ” Brenda said.

“I know it's Vanessa. Just forget about it. ”

“Why do you call her by her name? ” Brenda asked.

“That gives her multiple orgasms if she likes you. ” Alex said.

“Really now naughty boy?” Brenda said but she had to smile.

She felt so secure around Alex and the only person she ever felt that way with was her cousin Victor. If her intuitions were not wrong, she was lucky to have him.

They both made home after a few exchanges and dark jokes. Alex walked behind Brenda admiring her wobbling behind. It's normal for any fertile man without any complications like erectile dysfunction.

“Will you stop that? ” Brenda asked.

“Stop? Walking or something? ”

“Staring at my ass. It's all yours, Ok?. ” Brenda said and even balanced herself even meticulously and with that up and down motion, wobble up would be the best song for the moment and so Alex reached out for his phone and selected the song.

“Did you have to do that really? ”

“I think it will motivate the girl in front of me to balance herself better. ” Alex whispered and hugged her from behind.

You know what's sweet about hugging someone with a dress while you have sweatpants? I guess it's too obvious, the recipient can feel every inch of the hard you. That's what happened and as funny as it may seem, Brenda lowered herself down like squatting then slowly moved up and the movement definitely made Alex hard.

“Let's go home now Brenda. ” Alex said letting out a soft sigh.

“You better avoid Vanessa's wrath. ” Brenda said and angrily pulled herself away from Alex.

“Hey, I didn't mean to irritate you Brenda. I just wanted us to leave I have some things to deliver to dad. ” Alex said.

Brenda turned around slowly, her eyes were wet and she was sweating profusely.

“Just leave Alex. You think I'm that needy? Huh? Why are you messing with my feelings? ”

“Messing? What do you mean? I just wanted us to leave and you can have my time. It's still our first day and we have enough days to be together. I will make it up for you, I promise.” Alex said.

Up to date I've never understood how a lady or a man feels when receiving an apology. That was not an apology actually, I'd call it assurance.

Alex had already aroused Brenda to her maximum and being still a teenager, she could barely contain herself. Maybe it was not an issue of age but her desire to have Alex all by herself. She just walked away and Alex followed her. The move is always a killer deal to ladies since if you fail to follow her after that, dude hell breaks loose.

He grabbed her by her hand and pulled her towards himself. That feels like the final score to the acting and you have to know what to do after that. He gave her a really tight hug and he could feel her calm down. It was such an easy task after finally seeing her smile again. Brenda was a bit shorter than Alex and arguing with her would definitely be a losing battle. Short people problems.

The uncontrollable urge to kiss overwhelmed both of them and ended up kissing again for so long.

“We can leave now. But I'm still mad at you. ” Brenda said.

“Name the price. ”

“Do you have two hearts?” Brenda asked.

“I wish it was possible.” Alex replied.

“If I were the devil, I'd wish to have your soul. But I need your heart.”

“I'm sorry for that but you can still have me.” Alex said.

“How can I have you while you're this mean with yourself?” Brenda asked angrily.

“I'm not mean. We could have done the right activity at the wrong place. ”

“Wrong place? Huh? Then what’s right according to your Mother tongue? On bed, right?” Brenda asked and Alex nodded in approval.

“Fuck your idea of right and wrong! You've made me feel cheap and needy. Is this how you rich kids treat the poor? You've really mastered the art, haven’t you? I'm not! Maybe I wanted to have you, it feels awkward telling you how I feel about you. I wish I just remained calm like your cousin there!  I wish I never met you in the first place. You are just manipulative like everyone else! ” Brenda shouted furiously.

“Calm down Brenda. I don't need a hooker or one night's stand from you, at least I want something that can last longer than this. ” he said. He acted composed and that really won Brenda's heart.

At the same time, even in the midst of the exchange Alex never let go of Brenda from his grip. He had already realized she had an uncontrollable temper and he had to take care of it.

He held her until she was calm and collected to walk to the house. No one cared start a conversation all along except stealing glances and smiling.

Brenda made to her mother's place, the servant's quarters. Alex's dad had made sure the houses were built as best as possible to ensure comfort to all his workers. The workers never complained about anything else apart from his bossy wife but they were getting used to her tyrannical nature. 

She dropped herself on the floor staring at the ceiling. She closed her eyes trying to replay all the events that had ensued. She felt like it was the best day of her life but again she never knew what Alex thought about her.

“How dare you ignore my calls? ” Vanessa asked.

“You knew I'd still be back ma' you didn't have to call. ” Alex replied.

“What if there was a problem and I needed your help?” Vanessa asked.

“This compound has people who can do that, just forget the excuses. Why are you so insecure mum? ”

“You like her, right? ” Vanessa asked.

“Who are you talking about? And what makes you think I like anyone? ”

“That poor servant girl. What was her name again?  Was it Bridget or something? ” she asked.

“That's none of your business mum. I still don't understand why you are concerned about who I like or dislike. And again, be sure your plan is going to fail.”

“Provided you're under my roof you do what I fucking tell you! Do you understand? ” Vanessa barked angrily.

“Do you have to raise your voice to make me listen to you? You always get what you want anyway.” Alex said and let out a stifled laugh. “But this time, I’m sorry you have to sit and watch.” He added and walked out of the house.

Of all things he didn't want to disrespect his father at any given time. He also didn't disrespect anyone and he made sure they all received whatever they all wanted. They just needed to name it and that was all.

“What makes my little princess sleep on the floor? ” Sarah asked immediately she got into the house.

Brenda had passed out on the floor after the long night travelling and the walk with Alex. Sarah slowly woke her daughter up and she looked completely out of place.

“Have you been crying?” Sarah asked.

“No. Why?”

“Your eyes are swollen dear. ” Sarah replied.

“I'm just too tired I guess. ”  Brenda said.

“How was the walk with Alex? Hope he treated you well? ”

“It was really amazing mum and I'm starving. ” Brenda said.

“He's always a good kid. ” Sarah said.

After the statement Brenda could not control a wide smile on her face, a unique one with both her set of teeth out.

“What's that smile on your face? Anything I don't know with the first day here?”

“Snap it off mum. It's just funny how you called a grown up ass man a kid.” Brenda lied.

“Those boys will always be kids to me. I even know them better than their mother does. ” Sarah said. “You said you needed something to eat? ” she asked.

“I've never been this hungry in my life. ”

“Then you need to deworm. ” Sarah said.

“Damn it! You sound just like a typical African mother. ” Brenda said and for the first time Brenda saw a smile just like hers. She was a spitting image of her mother.

“I love that smile.”

“Now stand up and have some food before you go to bed. ”

There was more than enough to eat but she just took her full changed to her pajamas.

“Goodnight miss Sarah. ” Brenda said and walked away feeling so lost.

Through the bedroom window, she could see Alex and Ian seated on a bench outside the main house. That really broke her heart since she knew when people of the same sex are together, the best they can do is stalking others and her superstitious mind convinced her the two were talking about her. It was really hard to sleep until past midnight.

The following morning, Alex woke up at his usual time, changed into his sweat pants and sneakers. He grabbed his earphones and made to his usual morning run.
He could see a girl running at a distance and like any other man he ran faster to catch up with her only to realize it was Brenda. It was hard to catch up with her but she kept running and running. Alex was panting hard until they got to a field. Alex started stretching and Brenda could not even look at him, that was strange since they had previously shared a moment.

“Hey. ” Alex started but Brenda could not stare at him. “Will you talk to me already? ”

Brenda ignored him and started walking away. As Alex tried to get closer to her, she pushed him and he fell hitting his head on a rock.

“I'm sorry Alex. I didn't mean to do this. I'm sorry. ” she said kneeling down and covering her face.
