After those few days, everything seemed set and Brenda didn’t fail in her task, amazing everyone. Despite June detesting her with passion just because of a plan gone wrong, she always made sure she had her shoulder to lean on whenever she needed and constantly remaining the sister she loved. Vanessa on the other hand, was dining with her angels and archangels plotting how her sons would marry whoever she wanted. Wasn’t she their mother and they all had to oblige? Honor your parents, the holy bible says so but to what extent? It should be a little specific since at some point, someone may tend to take advantage of the commandment.

After about two months together at home, June was still sneaking in Ian’s room and they constantly had spirited sex. All that sent wrong signals to her since she thought it would at least bring Alex back to his senses and realize that she was into him. Ian was there to have fun and give his brother and Brenda a chance to be together and enjoy life. He too like Brenda and he was even happy that they were in love. The bond between the twins was so strong that not even their mother could realize anything wrong was happening and her plan was yet to fail. There were very many beautiful ladies out there to marry your cousin like Vanessa anticipated.

“We need to talk.” Alex received a message from Brenda one morning before his usual road work.

“Meet at the field in fifteen minutes.” He replied as he tied his laces.

He rushed out of the house a little confused wondering what might have happened. She had heard Sarah talk about Brenda the previous night after dinner and the thought of a pregnancy hit him. With the little he knew about ladies, he was a bit aware of the fact that she could have got pregnant with the moments they had shared; countable, magical but at the same time enough. He walked outside the house absent-mindedly with his headphones on full blast and ended up not noticing his father watching him. No matter what was happening Alex was always jovial and friendly even when he was furious with anyone in the house especially their mother. She had to keep on apologizing to his son after maybe saying something and ended up hurting either of her sons. Ian didn’t care too much about whatever used to happen in the house and Alex was twice as ignorant.

To confirm his thoughts, Alex started of in a really high speed which was not any normal according to what their father had taught them. They used to start a morning run with a walk followed by a jog but never a splint. As a father, he thought of following him and have a chant with him.

“Did you see that Sarah?” He asked and Sarah chuckled.

“I am surprised too. He never walks out of the house without hugging almost everyone.” Sarah replied and Joseph nodded.

“Kids nowadays are delicate and suicide cases have become rampant.” Joseph said and Sarah was surprised by the thought coming from Joseph who really believed in his two sons.

“Why would you even think about that? Alex is really strong trust me he will figure whatever and he’ll be smiling. You know he never holds on to anger and grudges, don’t you?” Sarah asked and they both exchanged smiles and if Joseph would confess, he really liked being around Sarah when at home. She always had something they could talk about for hours and sometimes he could even rely on Sarah on some investment decisions.

“I know Sarah but you know we can’t overlook the fact that even the strongest have their limits.” Joseph said scrolling through his phone for Ian’s cell. “Is Ian out?” He asked before dialing.

“Come on Joseph dear, you know Ian will never wake up early. Unless he changes in future. A fruit doesn’t fall too far from the tree.” Sarah said shifting her gaze towards the stairway from the master bedroom. Joseph noticed and shifted his gave towards her too. She wore a white, short and provocative nightdress.

No one could dispute the fact that she was the queen in the mansion and Joseph had made the best choice for a mother to his children. That made his sons handsome and at least competitive when it came to ladies. They had a presentable face not a face that resembled a human face.

“It surely doesn’t.” Joseph said and with the time they had all spent together they had no point of being insecure with each other. “The queen is up.” Joseph added still staring at his wife.

“Talking about me now?” She asked with her most beautiful tone and shot the two a smile. The smile always made Joseph nuts despite the years they had spent together. It felt and looked brand-new and like she was young again. Vanessa really took care of her body to maintain her flawless skin for her ever-absent husband as she said. She walked towards her husband though and sat on his laps. “Will you tell me what was happening before I shame you in Sarah’s presence?” She asked.

“You really think so love?” He asked with a smile which got a positive response too. Sarah knew how weak Vanessa was towards Joseph and knew she couldn’t win but didn’t dare interrupt their beautiful little moment. She knew Vanessa really needed it since when husband decided to exile himself, she always looked broken and those around her really suffered.

“The bed was just a little bit cold without you.” She said with a wink giving Joseph her sleepy eyes and a tight hug while sitting on his laps. Those moments always happened while Sarah was watching and much more since she was like their personal assistant. Everything about them was all about Sarah, dressing, sleeping, eating, partying and shopping. Vanessa had given her enough credit and she had every reason to.

“Looks like Sarah has prepared us something.” Joseph said trying not to get attached to the moment.

“Hey Sarah.” Vanessa greeted while positioning herself next to her husband.

“You really look amazing today Vanessa.” Sarah said with her usual smile and when Joseph nodded in agreement while cutting her a smile, she just melted and was shy. Sarah and Joseph exchanged knowing glances. They both had a way of getting into her heart and head.

“You two are messing with my head, huh?” She asked trying to feign being mad at the two who ended up laughing and she joined in too then nodded. “I hate it when you are away love. Any business this week?” Vanessa asked.

“I am guessing not unless anything crops up.”

“So, the mother to your sons can have dinner away from this beautiful hall today?” Vanessa asked teasingly.

“Why not?” Joseph asked staring at her. “Looks like she is in a really good mood today.” He added.

“And it can always change.” She said.

“Oh! Really now darling?” Joseph asked and Sarah could not avoid it but laugh.

Vanessa too joined Sarah in the laugh before Ian woke up to find everyone lively and didn’t care. He was used to the three best friends and their parents too. He just made himself comfortable away from the two but at his favorite spot. He just waited for the three to get done with their laughter and teases. He watched their mother laugh to tears leaning against their father and Sarah to and realized how much the two ladies loved fun. The moment with their mother around their father seemed to change everything in Vanessa, she had a glow that she lost whenever her husband wasn’t around.

Alex found Brenda already waiting for him at the field stretching slowly and he first of all enjoyed he curvy body before startling her by clearing his throat.

“That’s how you announce your presence?” Brenda asked with a smile. “Still a weirdo!” Brenda murmured looking at Alex and they both chuckled.

“Call me weirdo again and I will show you what a weirdo I am.” Alex said.

“Was that a threat?” Brenda asked rolling her eyes.

“Don’t you give me those eyes Brenda. What’s up?” He asked sitting next to her. “Sarah said something about you being unwell.” Alex asked worriedly and Brenda couldn’t avoid it but laugh out loud. She always enjoyed how vulnerable Alex was when it came to her. “What’s so funny love? I was worried about you.” Alex added and Brenda laughed even more.
