CHAPTER 6.

He started nose bleeding and blinking listlessly as Brenda stared gaily at him. She knew close to nothing about first aid but either willingly or unwillingly she had to help him, it was her fault anyway.

She tried wiping Alex face for a short while before thinking about sitting down and resting Alex's head on her laps. Sincerely, I would never wish such a moment where you a lying on a warm platform but you can't take advantage of it.

“I'm sorry Alex. I didn't mean to hurt you dear. Don't leave me alone please. ” Brenda whispered.

Alex's immune system was efficient or maybe the gods were not on a vacation even though it was a December. Brenda stared at Alex's face, his eyes just closed, breathing steadily and looking so innocent. Actually, looking at some people in their sleep you'd never see the ugly beasts in them. She passed her hands over his hair humming Christina Perry's song, human. Involuntarily, tears rolled down her face dropping on Alex's face.

“Open your eyes and talk to me Alex. Say you forgive me for this, please. ” Brenda said trying to forcefully open Alex's eyes. She had seen doctors in movies do it though she was not a qualified physician to give him any injection even if she wanted to.

On one tree, she could see two beautiful birds flying from one tree to another. She had never seen such beautiful birds, beautiful feathers and sweet melodious chirps. She was so sure the two birds were male and female having fun and feeding on some ladybirds, she loved ladybirds anyway but she couldn't control the food chain. She meticulously explored how jovial the birds were and found herself smiling until she didn't realize Alex open his eyes.

He watched her chubby face, swollen but trying to be happy. He wished the moment would last a little bit longer. He really enjoyed the warmth emitted by Brenda's body, a mixture of both confusion and the morning jog. Alex saw her smile again and again still staring at those.

“I wish those two birds were you and I. Just open your eyes and see how beautiful they are, please. ” Brenda said only to lock eyes with Alex.

“They look beautiful, aren't they? ” he responded smiling too.

“I'm sorry I pushed you. I was overreacting since I thought you and Ian were stalking me yesterday.” Brenda said.

“Damn it! We may be young but not dumb. Ian and I have too much to discuss and you ladies should realize not everything is about you! I'm sorry this might hurt your feelings but I'd care less if I drove anything home. We rarely discuss ladies and if we did, it would be the best about you Brenda, grow up and see the bigger picture. Stop drowning in this girl's talk shit about how men sit down to discuss ladies. Do you mean we could sit down for all those hours talking about the drive from the airport and the walk? As a matter of fact we didn't even talk about anyone not even the confusion. It hurts me to know you thought that about you. I couldn't do anything to hurt you Brenda. I swear. ” Alex said.

Brenda felt so stupid about her young mind. Why did she even think the two were talking about her? Self-esteem issues and too many insecurities maybe. And again she was a bit shy but she had to let that go and make it up for Alex.

“It doesn't hurt me, it's the truth and I didn't consider how different people are. I'm sorry for everything Alex. Just say you forgive me and we'll end this fight. ”
“We're we fighting? It would be more stupid if we staged a fight, right? Say something sweet and make me smile. ” Alex said.

“But you're already smiling sweetheart. You want to punish me? ” she asked but smiling too. She was still in tears and fortunately or unfortunately, she couldn't stop some drops from falling on Alex's lips. Wasn't that a golden opportunity to plant a kiss on his lips? Sure, it was.

She slowly let Alex lay on the ground and slid on top of him spreading his hands apart. If you find a woman who can drive you crazy with generosity, just make sure you are in touch with traditional doctors, you may need them at some point when you feel insecure.

“Why don't you let me repay you for being the picture of the man I want.” Brenda whispered breathing her warm air on Alex's ears.

With that she started kissing his lips before sliding her tongue inside Alex's mouth. They had kissed previously but that morning was a special one and it felt like she had been training for that moment. He was still young to control how fast his manhood pocked Brenda's thighs.

Tables turned and Alex was on top of her trying to let her calm down a little. Alex was ignoring the fact that Brenda had felt his manhood twice and not just feeling, she was ready to touch and a little bit more.

Brenda kissed him and they both rolled over. They laid down looking at the clear blue sky, feeling the morning breeze and the warm morning sun.

“Does your head hurt? ” Brenda asked.

Alex had already forgotten about his bruised head but lucky for him there was no bleeding.

“Just a bit swollen but I'll be fine.”

“That will never happen again, I promise. ”

“I believe you but next time make sure you kill me before I lay my hands on you. ” he said.

“Was that a threat? ”

“A sarcastic threat maybe. ” he replied.

Brenda explored around the place and there were few mansions. She spotted one house at a distance and she was curious.

“Do people live there? They must be really lonely. ”

“No one lives there.”

To her surprise Alex tried hard to avoid discussing the house and she knew better than starting another fight from nothing. They took some time to calm their nerves down before starting their run back home.
“I need to do some shopping after breakfast, will you help me? ”

“I'm ready when you are. ” Alex replied.

“Thanks. I love you. ” Brenda said and wrapped her arm around Alex's waist.

As if karma always experienced insomnia, June was watching the transformation and how happy the two were. Jealousy is such an ugly piece of shit since if she could just control herself no one could have noticed the rage she had.

“Is that servant poor bitch aware of how much I want Alex.” she whispered her hands akimbo.

Ian was watching her from the staircase and he couldn't avoid it but smile.

“She's just young and stupid. Anyway it's healthy. ” he thought out loud and nodded.

“Good morning miss Sarah. ”

“Good morning to you lazy head. We agreed on a morning run to keep you active. ” Sarah said.

“Alex has represented me. When he gains I gain too. ” Ian said and both laughed.

“You boys are really cunning. Need some coffee? ” Sarah asked.

“I'd prefer a glass of milk if you don't mind. ” Ian said.
“Your wish is always my command. Don't want a morning hug? ” Sarah asked.

“I'm sorry miss Sarah. ” Ian said hugging her.
When they boys said nanny Sarah was more than a mother to them, it was absolutely true and an indisputable fact. She took care of them like they were her own. Literally, Ian ignored June's presence and let her succumb to her jealousy. Ian was aware Alex would care less about whatever she felt.

“Good morning everyone. ” Alex said. Immediately they got into the house.

“My always obedient boy. ” Sarah said as Alex walked toward the kitchen counter and hugged her. It was a beautiful culture that she had introduced to the boys from a young age. Their father respected her for that and constantly increased her monthly income, that act would motivate any employee. Brenda followed suit and hugged her mother.

“How was the run munchkin? ” Sarah asked.

“Fabulous though Alex made me run like a racing horse. ” she said and they all laughed.

“No miss Sarah. She was running away from me like she had seen a ghost. ” Alex said.

“Ma' he's lying. He was chasing after me. ” Brenda said.

Ian just enjoyed the exchange knowing it was hurting Brenda like nothing else could. Their father walked from upstairs and watched the fun the four had. He smiled as he too approached the kitchen counter.
“Good morning everyone. What Am I missing here? ” he asked.

“It's nothing sir. Just our usual talks with the boys you know. Need something to drink? ” Sarah asked.

“Thank you Sarah, Let me go for a jog first. Want to join me son?” he asked referring to Ian.

“I wouldn't mind dad. ” Ian said and rushed to his room.

Both father and son were speeding down towards the main gate. Alex and Brenda were staring at them.

“Ian is faster than your dad, right? ” Brenda asked.
Alex smiled sheepishly as she looked at Sarah.

“Only in his weirdest dreams. I'm used to running with daddy and he's still fast yet Ian is way too slow than I am. ” Alex said.

They had both refreshed and done with breakfast. Brenda started helping her mother while Alex made to his room and June followed him immediately. Brenda was watching all that and Sarah too. June knocked at Alex's door which Alex didn't hesitate answering thinking it was Brenda.

“What are you doing in my room? Get out before I throw you out through the window!” Alex barked.

“What is it between you and that poor servant girl? ” June asked.

“That's none of your business and if you don't mind I have things to do. ”

“I'm not leaving until you tell me what exactly exists between the two of you. ” Brenda insisted.

“I'm sorry I needed to fuck her away from your nosy ass. Satisfied? ” Alex said.

“You know I love you Alex and all this is tearing me apart and breaking my heart. ” June said.

“At my age I don't know where broken hearts go and now you and your broken heart needs to find something better to do other than stalking people.

Actually, I don't even know how a broken heart looks like. As a matter of fact I didn't hate you but you're forcing me to. ” Alex said.

“This must get to Aunt Vanessa. This can't be happening. ” she said.

“I knew you're just a needy snitching ass bitch. You don't need to tell me what you and Vanessa are capable of. Just go relax on the couch and discuss that amongst yourselves. ” Alex said and made himself busy but literally doing nothing.

“I will do whatever it takes to be the mistake you can't live without but not that miserable piece of... I don't know. ”

“Why should an ignorant rich blood even compete with a miserable piece of whatever you meant? ” Alex asked pushing her out.

June walked away from the room feeling dejected but determined to do anything to have Alex.

Later Ian came to Alex's room telling him what June was telling their mother. Unfortunately, she didn't mention anything to do with Brenda.

“Why don't you screw her since adolescence seems to be taking the best part of her mind? ” Alex asked Ian.

“She's stupid and I'm sure she can't keep a secret. ” Ian said.

“Then trim her arrogance bro. Can I trust you on that? ” Alex asked.

“Consider that done. Game on. Give me five. ” Ian said.

Alex and Ian walked out of the room having their usual jokes. Vanessa and June were seated on the couch and with the look of things they had it all figured out.

“Alex dear, have a shower and take June to the hospital. You can use my ATM card to pay. ” Vanessa said.
June stared at him and smiled while Brenda gave him the, ‘How deep is your love.' look. Ian too stared at him. Brenda felt weak and almost dropped her glass of coffee.

“I don't expect excuses. So if you had any plans just postpone them. ” Vanessa continued.

Ian pushed Alex with his shoulder startling him from the confusion. June stared at Brenda and gave her a naughty smile and a middle finger. Brenda was defeated and her eyes were turning wet.
