"Thank you so much Mrs Ruby I really appreciate your help honestly I don't know what I would do without you"
"Come on now child you know I love my little baby, get to work  before you late" I kissed Dianne puffy chicks one more time and left out the complex.

That night when Lan and I had an argument I decided to run away I know what I did was cruel but I had to find a way to be with my child so I left. To avoid being found cause I know he was gonna look for he's child with the little money he had already paid me I changed my name and moved to Cape Town now I work at this small cafe and it's closer to my 2 bedroom dorm so I save a lot of money, and yes I gave birth 2 months ago and I couldn't be happier with my life. My child is happy and we have roof over our head. The money I make is not that much but it's enough for me and my baby girl....she's so cute you should see her

After work I went to pick her up from Mrs Ruby's house you know those old ladies that doesn't want to grow old yep that was Mrs Ruby.... anyway I get to my place made food for my little goof ball and got her ready for bed, I walked into my room after taking a shower and looked at myself in the mirror as tiring as working in the cafe is but it's very handy I mean I never went to the gym after giving birth and my body is back to shape thanks to the long hours at the cafe. My manger never makes me work night shift cause he knows I have a baby so I always sleep at home. Thank God I'm not working tomorrow I'll spend the day with my little goof ball.

I woke up with the biggest headache I don't know why cause I was fine last night and I'm under no pressure, I reached for my nightstand trying to get my phone and it wasn't there I patted some more trying to find it and that's when I heard a voice one that I'd never forget in my life
"Looking for this"
"I quickly jumped out of bed and looked around only to see him standing there looking straight at me with those beautiful eyes but this time they were not just beautiful they held so much anger and hatred. I panicked, Dianne immediately crossed my mind and i ran for the door only to be snatched back by my braids. Lan slammed me to the wall and chocked the life out of me

"Haaa p-please L-Lan you're hurting me please"

"You little bitch you think you can just take my child and my money and run away with hopes that I won't find you.....huh I'm talking to you"

I struggle and finally managed to kick him down once free I ran to Dianne's room as I'm picking her up the door cracked open revealing a furious Lan I quickly lift my baby up and held her close to my chest

"Lan please step back" I said pleading with him
"Put her down.....NOW!!" he growled
I knew right then and there that I'm fucked in that moment Dianne wakes up and immediately smiled after realizing she was in my arms awww my poor baby so innocent her smile always brought me peace and comfort. Her beautiful eyes twinkled and wonder around the room until they fell on the huge frame besides the door
Lan locked eye with her  and I saw him calming down a little.

Thank goodness for Dianne, "is this her?" He asked stepping closer with every step he took towards me I took one back until I reached the wall, "I'm not stupid enough to hurt my child Linda" he said I just looked at him
" can I hold her"............."I won't hurt her"

I swallowed a lump in my throat and gave her to him he sat down on the rocky chair and held her, looking at her with so much admiration and in that moment I noticed how he looked, he was in love with his child he had pure joy in his eyes and I felt bad for breaking them apart. I looked at him rocking her until she fell back to sleep he was sprung already I watched him kiss her forehead and smiled at the site, he carefully put her down in her crib and motioned for me to follow him
