Soliloquy

Are we ever accepted for who we really are?
Not judged based on our flaws or scars
But the content of our hearts.

Will the voices trudging our ears ever scream positivity?
A whirlwind of emotional congeniality.

Do we ever break free from societal stereotypes?
Their bias minds preaching tales of prejudice.

Will people ever learn to listen?
Swift to voice their opinions
Reluctant to give ear to the pain of others.

What's the price to pursue one's passion?
The sacrifice to find our heart's companion.

Aren't we all on a journey of self discovery?
To relieve ourselves from problems discomforting.

To reveal the creature behind our mask.
And transitions into a Phoenix at last.

Why is religion a topic of conflict?
Is there anything wrong if our beliefs are dynamic?
Religious fanatics preach God's will
In the end their actions are to satisfy man's greed.

What will it take for us to live in peace?
Must our better judgement be based on our ethnical breach?

Will people ever be encouraged to soar the heights of their mind's creation?
Or be trapped in the delusion of a perfect life.

If everyone could be creative
The world would be a better place for recreation
A new world for our future generation
Only if we had that one motivation
There would be a regeneration.
