The entire next day, Roman stayed in bed. There wasn't much more he could comprehend. Everything from yesterday kept replaying in his mind. Everything he said to his brother. The fight they had. Everything his brother said to him. The kiss. All of it.

The kiss was the biggest thing digging away at his brain. Roman kept thinking of everything he did wrong during it. For starters, he just stood there! It wasn't that it was a bad kiss, he just wasn't expecting it! He didn't know that Remus felt that way about him. He knew he wanted to grow closer again. He just didn't know he wanted to get together like that. But after everything that has been happening between them recently, Roman couldn't deny.

He wanted to love Remus too.

A knock at his door made him jump a little. He grew a little excited, hoping it was Remus. He threw the sheets across his body, letting himself out of his bed. Slipping into his blood-red slippers, scooting over to his closet.

He put his hand on the door, a silly smile spreading on his lips. As the door flung open, no one was inside. The prince huffed, growing a lonely feeling in his stomach again. His door knocked again, startling him.

Slowly, Roman shut his closet and walked over to his bedroom door. He opened it up, seeing Patton happily standing there. The fatherly side seemed a little startled by Roman's appearance. He was still in pajamas and had yet to do his hair. He probably looked dead tired too. He had gotten much sleep last night as his brother was the only thing on his mind.

"Geez, Roman looks like you spent the night in a puppy farm." Patton joked, trying to lighten the prince's mood. Roman chuckled a little, wanting to seem okay to his fellow side. "You doing okay, buddy?"

"Yeah just...tired from all the filming yesterday." Roman hummed, rubbing his eyes.

"Really? Cause you slept through most of it! You know, with the duke?" Patton laughed, poking at Roman.

"Yeah, I guess."

"You sure you're okay though? None of us haven't heard anything from you since filming yesterday!" Patton exclaimed.

"I'm fine. Seriously just...recovering." Roman assured him, plastering on a fake smile.

"If you're sure." With that, Patton let him be, backing away from the door letting Roman shut it. As soon as he did, he turned around. The prince put his back to the door, sliding down it until his knees were bunched up to his chest. Laying his head between his legs, a soft sob came out of his mouth.

Remus. That was the only thing he could think about. All the feelings he had suppressed or threw to the side to try and forget about. Why? Why did he do that? He can't forget about his brother. All the memories of a time that they'll never have again. When they were one. When they were complete.

"Ro?" A new voice spoke, interrupting his thoughts. His head shot up, immediately recognizing the nickname and the voice behind it. Above him stood his brother, cautiously approaching him.

"Remus." Roman sobbed, making grabby hands towards him. The duke ran to him, helping his brother to his feet only to become trapped in a hug. The duke's heart ached for his brother. It pained him to see Roman like this. "I'm so sorry."

"Hey, hey. Look at me." Remus directed, lifting his brother's chin to see his res stained eyes. "You have nothing to be sorry about."

"I just miss you. You're right, you're right, you've always been right. I just wish I understood that sooner." The prince sobbed again.

"Feelings are complicated. I know I'm not some dork, like Logan, but admitting to those feelings is the strongest thing you can do. And you are so fucking strong, Ro." The two stared at each other for a while. Nothing was said until their faces grew closer. It was just natural. The gap between them closed until they were lip-locked in a deep kiss.

Neither of them held back. Both of the forcibly shoving their lips together. This. This was right. This is what they both needed. This is what they both missed. Each other.

As they pulled apart, they laughed and smiled. Their happiness was visible. Their feelings were true. "I love you, Ro."

"I love you too, Remus." The prince stroked his brother's hair, calming the duke as he leaned his head on Roman's shoulder. A warm feeling danced in both of their hearts. Like the missing piece of themselves was finally coming together.

"What if the others find out?" Remus questioned, picking himself up to gaze at his beautiful brother. "What if they start to get suspicious? Or we get careless and show affection in public."

"Hey, it's okay. Nobody is going to know about this. I promise you." Roman assured him, taking his hand and giving it a soft kiss. "I love you so fucking much. If anyone dares separate us again, things will get ugly." Remus laughed at that.

"You were always so protective. I missed that." The duke giggled, cuddling into his prince.

"And you were always so crazy. But that's why I missed you." Roman helped his brother to his feet. Hands locked together, they went over to Roman's bed. They settled into each other, Remus summoning his laptop for the two of them to watch some movies on.

They settled on Romeo and Juliet. A story of forbidden love. Two sides of a family. Rivalries pulling to two lovers apart until they can't take it anymore. Of course, as the story goes, they can't live without each other. Both of them meeting a cruel fate just to live happily in heaven.

Maybe it was a metaphor for the brother's love. Maybe not.

The two cuddled for hours, Remus eventually falling into a peaceful sleep on his brother's chest. Roman giggled, fawning in his brother's cuteness. With a kiss on his head, Roman clapped his hands, watching all the lights in his room dim. The prince shut his eyes. Finally the prince and the duke were living happily ever after.
