Day 68: Emily...

A love we had, a love so pure of heart.
Forever more, I would have loved you.
Two beating hearts, they'd shine as one.
Just you and I, for always, never to part.
Our souls they sparkled; our love, it resonates.

But our kiss, a simple figment, of a trust destroyed.
A moment in time, stolen grace, gone far too soon...

Though our life, it was a wish, left merely unfilled.
In me, no, you never believed.
In us, no, you never believed.
And our kiss, is now no more, lost to the winds.

But our kiss, a simple figment, of a trust destroyed.
A moment in time, stolen grace, gone far too soon...

Our love, it was just a fragment, of a promise shattered.
Your absence, it destroys me more than you could ever know.
And for always, you and I together, meant only for a minute.
May you find your true happiness, find your smile again.
