Yet another lonely night, born of a wilted, fading heartbeat.
For your return, I eternally wait, alone and afraid in the dark.
Please, won't you return to me? I miss you dearly, my love...
My nights I spend awake and pining, yearning for your hand.
My days, I sleep away the hours, trying merely to forget the pain.
Not eating right with you out of sight, my chest, it feels so tight.
To catch my breath, I struggle through tears and blurred vision.
However long it takes, however long I must wait, for you I will stay.
I pray only that you need me, that you miss me too, my dearest...
