Day 71: A Darkened Shadow, My Only Friend...

My shadow wears...

A velvet cloak of mystery, masking fear and doubt.
With mighty wings of evil, power and substance.
Through tinted shades, my soul it sees, nothing may I hide.
Her hair is like a flowing river; long and never-ending.
She hides a multitude of sins; blackened as the pitch dark night.

My shadow is a universe...

Ever-expanding, for it sees all; tainted, scarred, and bruised.
Silent it soars, surveying the stars; keeping its watch over me.
A bitter heart of hatred, a stone-cold soul of ice.
