- Virgil in Accepting Anxiety part 2

Virgil marched through the walls. He had it with these humans. He was not taking it any longer. "Pack your things, Logan. We are leaving." Virgil aggressively grabbed a bag made out of cloth, shoving items inside without even thinking. All of the events that happened between him and that...that human's image was flooding back to him. How dare " Roman" treat him like...like some animal, but what did he expect. That's how all humans acted around their kind. He grabbed a piece of red cloth, stared at it, then shoved it into the pack. He was not staying here another minute.

Logan ran in after his brother. He watched as he mindlessly grabbed item after item, just shoving things in like worthless garbage. " Aren't you overreacting?"

As soon as those words were uttered from Logan's mouth, Virgil turned his body around to face the one that was supposed to be the genius out of the two of them. " Overreacting? Do you really think I am overreacting? Logan...He put me in a glass cage! I am not staying here with that monster!" Virgil grabbed some black and purple cloth and attempted to shove it in the pack, but realized after it fell out the bag was full already. He slammed the bag down on the ground and started to look for something else to use for moving materials.

Logan just shook his head and walked over to his brother. He placed both hands on Virgil's shoulders to grab his attention. " Will you stop trying to break our items and just listen to me." Virgil glared at Logan but complied with his instructions. He sat down on the ground with a sudden fall. He crossed his legs and then his arms over his chest. " You have five minutes...wait...no...three. Go."

Logan just rolled his eyes but complied with the restrictions he was given. He walked back and forth, basically pacing to get all the information out. " I think we need to stay."

" What are you!"

Logan glared over at Virgil to tell him to shut up, because it was his turn to talk now. " We need to stay. When is a borrower going to get an opportunity like this again? The humans literally offered the house to us. This will be our one chance to study human behavior and emotions more in-depth than just observing from the sidelines. Once we are finished then yes we can leave." he looked over, noticing his brother was looking at him like he was crazy. " All I am saying is take advantage of the one called Patton's generosity. I have a feeling if we stay around him instead of Roman we will be fine. We take a few notes for a week, then we leave. We can use the information we obtained to help us with a new home."

Virgil leaned against a hand of his. He honestly couldn't believe what Lovan was saying...well honestly he could. Out of all the choices, he knew knowledge was always the route he wanted to pursue. The problem was...were they going to survive? Roman lives here too. He barely survived his first encounter, but looking up at Logan he could see the gleam in his eye. He really wanted to pursue this.

"Fine." Virgil threw the bag across the room. "If you are that confident in this. But, if anything goes wrong. Anything. We are leaving." He could see the gleam in his eye. Logan was beyond excited. The purple borrower knew from experience that Logan was more excited about the learning experience than the excitement of meeting humans.

Virgil stood up while sighing. He knew he lost the battle.
-------------------------------------------------

Virgil walks out as hesitantly as he could, looking behind himself to make sure Logan was still present. He didn't care how confident Logan was, he was not going to walk around Virgil's body if he could help it.

Virgil's body relaxed once he realized there were no humans present. "Where could those giants possibly be?" He whispered over to his brother still looking around trying to locate the big behemoths or at least wait till he felt the clamboring of their feet across the floor. He peered behind him, noticing Logan was getting a bit antsy, so he stuck his hand out to stop Logan's movements.

All he could do was roll his eyes. Logan walks right around Virgil without hesitation raising his voice. "Patton!"

His brother ran in front of Logan and clamped a hand over his mouth. "What are you doing?"

"Getting their attention," Logan said this in such a matter of fact way. "If we decide to stay here we should probably allow the giants know we are here so no accidents occur."

Virgil sighed. "Yes I know, but what if someone else walks through that door."

"That's unrealistic Virgil." Logan proceeded to yell once more to get the kinder human's attention. "Patton! We're on the counter!"

" Shhh, seriously shut up," Virgil said sternly.

To the dispair of the purple wearing borrower, a human did walk through the door, but it wasn't Patton.

"Will you seriously stop yelling. Your voices sound like mouse screeches with words. It's irritating really." Roman came walking in with a plain white shirt that contained a red strip from his shoulder to the edge, similar to a sash. He had jeans on that where obviously warn down. Both borrowers could tell from his clothing, the prince figure had no plans to do anything today. "What exactly do you need? Patton is out getting food for the house. Thought it would be best in case you guys decide to stay." Roman rolled his eyes at the ridiculous idea.

"Honestly we just came to announce we have decided to stay." Logan pushed passed Virgil to stare down the so-called intimidating man. Unlike Virgil, he could see right passed this facade. From his observations of the humans, he knew that yeah, Roman was selfish, but he wasn't a monster. He still respected his brother and people. He knew deep down Roman was just as dangerous as Patton was. He had seen Roman take care of creatures, help Patton, even observed Roman care for his brother, just in his own way. Virgil and Logan just had to get on his good side.

Roman walked over and leaned on one arm to get a better look at the two. He was honestly more curious then upset at the situation right now. He looked over at Virgil seeing him uncomfortable but still trying to get Logan to back down. Out of the two, he was a squirly one, but the Emo was very protective of his brother. "What made you decide to stay with two humans you hardly know?"

Logan glares back at Roman just daring him to do something. "Trust me we know more then you think." the human just rolled his eyes and backed up.

"Hey, can someone help me. Please." Patton walked into the kitchen holding two bags with his left hand, three with the right, and kicking one on the ground. Roman jumped up seeing his brother trying so hard to carry his objects.

"What are you doing Patton? You could have just asked for helped or even left some items in the vehicle." he ran over and relieved two of the five bags, walking them over to the counter. He dropped one a few feet away from the borrowers, making both jump back, getting Roman to smile a bit. "Our little friends here have decided to stay with us for a time."

Patton dropped the remaining bags, causing a few items to role out, literally running over to the counter. "What made you two change your mind?" he asked excitedly.

Virgil was the one to walk forward, not wanting his brother to talk too much. "It might be a bit easier for us is all."

The kind human reached out and scooped up both borrowers in his hand. He walked to the living room with both. "Take care of the groceries, Roman!"
