I walked back home in the cold. Going into my house and up to my room laying on my bed. Every time I felt sad that I didn't want to speak. I wrote, I wrote in a notebook about anything I felt, and at this moment I felt sad. So I wrote about Mattia

Dear Mattia,                                                 3/14/20
I'm not giving you this but I'm writing it because I feel the need to. I miss you Mattia Polibio. I miss how we used to hang out almost everyday of the year. How you always checked up on me when I looked upset. I miss how you were over protective over me. You were the best thing that ever happened to me when I went to the school. Even though you hate me I'll never hate you. How could I hate someone who meant so much to me. I L

I heard my doorbell ring and I went to go answer it.
Y-Troy? What are you doing here?
T-to see if your okay after that day me and Mattia argued. I'm sorry I hit you y/n. It wasn't on purpose
Y-I know it wasn't Troy. It's ok
T-so you and Mattia?
Y-nothings changed. I gave him a box that had a couple of things from when we were friends
T-oh. Wanna hang out?
Y-not really. Just wanna be by myself right now?
T-that's fine. Call if anything though
He hugged me and skated away

Mattias POV
She gave me a box that had every moment we spent together. The letter she wrote me. It was like she was saying goodbye to me. I felt like my heart shattered into a million pieces. I felt like I had nothing left to live for. She really was my best friend and beat her. I'll never forgive myself for what I've done to her. I kept reading the letter over and over again and holding a picture that was inside the box. A picture of the boys y/n and me at a fair when I won her a stuffed animal. The smile on her face would light up a dark room.
I heard a knock on my door and seen Kairi Alejandro Alvaro and Roshaun come in
"Can you guys please leave me alone" I said not wanting to talk.
Kairi-Mattia you gotta talk to us. It's been a week
Mattia-there's nothing to talk about Kai
Ale-yes there is. What happened between you and y/n?
Mattia-nothing. I told her I liked her and I kissed her. I said I was sorry but she said she doesn't forgive me for what I did to her.

He was crying even more and Kairi and the rest of the boys went to comfort him

Alvaro-it's ok Mattia. You gotta let her think
Mattia-think about what?! The times I beat her cause I was mad?!? Why did I do that to her?!
Roshaun-you did something horrible Mattia. But if she really wants to be friends again after what you did. Then she really loves you. But if you ever hurt her like this again Mattia that's it. She won't forgive you and I won't let her. She deserves the world.
Mattia-I know she does. I'm gonna try to be good. I promise
Kairi-what's in the box?
Mattia-y/n came to drop of the box to my dad and he gave it to me. It's some letters she wrote and other stuff we all gave her
Ale-the pic from the fair. Remember after this pic we went on the spinning ride and got so sick we threw up everywhere
They all laughed
Roshaun-what's this?
He reached to the bottom of the box and grabbed a paper
Alvaro-oh shit. It's the rules we made. Remember all the rules that we had to follow and couldn't break and if we did we got pied in the face
The paper wrote

*FRIENDSHIP RULES WE MUST FOLLOW*
1.never argue with each other
2.don't talk to each others ex's without telling them!
3.help each other out when we're in trouble/in need
4.share any food/snacks we have
5.write them a letter when you've done something wrong to them. (They must forgive you no matter what they did)
6.don't ever break the friendship
(Yea I know these rules are weird but our friendship is too )
Kairi-remember when y/n didn't help Mattia when he needed the answer to the test and he went to her house and hit her in the face with a apple pie
He laughed
Ale-oh yea! And we had to help her get it out her hair cause it was stuck
They all laughed
Mattia-she was mad at me for a week. So I did rule 5.write a letter and she forgive me for it
Alvaro-do that!
Mattia-what are the talking about ?
