Let's Meet the Avengers

"This is a scan of your genetic make-up," Stark started, turning on a monitor that had the outline of a body with lots of genetic data on the sides and inside it. "Look at your DNA stem."
I did. It seemed strange. I couldn't place it.
"It looks..."
"Off? That's because it is. I would get into tech-y terms but that'd just confuse you. Basically, you're an anomaly."
"What does that have to do with Necromancy?" I asked.
"This anomaly allows you to bring things back after death," Fury added.
"To put it simply. But it's much more complicated than that. We're going to have to work hard to unlock your powers and even then, using them would be like a sugar crash from Hell," Stark explained.
"Wait, wait, slow down. When do I get to go home between all this?" I said, rubbing my temple.
"Oh you don't," Stark said. "We need you here, testing."
"Excuse me?!"
"You will get to go home, Ms., but not for awhile," Fury said quickly.
"How long's awhile?"
"Until we can get your powers unlocked," Stark said. For some reason, you didn't think that was such a bad thing.
"Fine. When can we start?" I asked. They both raised their eyebrows as if they expected more resistance. Before Stark could respond, a woman in some kind of uniform poked her head into the room.
"Sir, the Avengers are here," She looked at Stark. "Well the rest of them, anyway."
"Let's go meet them, then," Fury said, starting to walk out of the room.
"Why are they here? Why is Stark here for starters?" I asked.
"SHEILD is the organization that we Avengers work with. They're our man power, backup, and bosses in a way," Stark said as we walked down the hall.
"How come I've heard of the Avengers and not of SHEILD?" I said.
"We're partially secret," Fury piped in.
"Okay then."

Soon we were on the deck of the air-ship. Which was quite the surprise for me.
"We've been in the air this whole time?!" I shouted. Surprisingly, the engine of the thing was quiet enough so I didn't have to shout over it. That's when I realized it wasn't in the air, it was floating on water. I leaned over the edge to gaze down at the sea. "...Or not." The ship was massive. It could pass as a low level cruise ship.
"Whenever the ship isn't flying, it operates as a boat," Fury said as we walked up to a recently landed Helicopter.
"Sweet~!" I said. As we neared the Helicopter, each Avenger, one by one, jumped out of it. When they were all out of it; Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Bruce Banner/ The Hulk, Thor, and finally someone in thick, steel, handcuffs, Loki. They approached us.
"Must you bind me everywhere we go, Thor?" Loki said agitated.
"Of course Brother, we may need you for assistance, but that does not mean you are cleared of all crimes," Thor answered. Stark stepped forward.
"This is her, guys. This is the girl," Stark told them, gesturing toward me. I saw Loki eyeing me and I caught his eye. He smirked at me and I turned my gaze back to The Avengers. Black Widow reached forward and held out her hand, I took it and shook it.
"I read your file, nice to finally see you," She said.
"I have a file?" I asked letting go of her hand. She smiled at me.
"Course you do," Stark said, laying a hand on my shoulder and coaching me to meet the rest of them. "Now don't be shy, it took me forever to convince them you were worth our time."
"Hey Miss, call me Cap," Captain America shaking my hand respectfully. I nodded.
"Okay, let's speed this up, That's Hawkeye, Bruce, Thor, and his evil brother," Stark said. I reached up to shake Loki's hand. He just starred at me.
"Might as well be polite," I said, shrugging. He smirked like he had a joke he wasn't telling and shook my hand through the cuffs.
"How about we go test your powers?" Cap said. I nodded and followed them back inside the ship.

A/N: The chapters are going to get longer as I go along, so don't worry, I know they're REALLY short right now. It's just so I can into the swing of Wattpad and the story. FINALLY LOKI APPEARS IN HIS OWN FANFICTION XD
