Dan's POV:

-One month later-

I came into school wearing a deep neck shirt with my gray cardigan and black skinny jeans with my furry hat and a bag on my back. "Hey! Dan!", I heard Phil shout from behind me. "Hey, Phil! You excited?", I asked, hugging him. "Yeah! Are you?", he asked. "Yup yup yup!", I replied. Phil wore a yellow short sleeved checkered shirt with black skinny jeans and gray Converse, he had a khaki green gym bag with a lion keychain on it in his hand. "Everyone for Blackpool, make your way to the bus now, please!", we heard Miss Payne shout. "Race you!", Phil said, running ahead of me. "Hey!", I exclaimed, running after him. We sat in the very back, Phil had the window seat while I sat right next to where he was, our bags on top of eachother beside us. We talked for the majority of the bus journey but Phil got rather tired and decided to sleep. I turned on my MP3 player and started listening to Fall Out Boy. I turned to my favourite song of theirs, "Sugar, We're Going Down" and decided to sing along to myself.

Phil's POV:

I rested my head on the window of the bus and slowly drifted off to sleep. I began to hear a voice singing, whoever it was, they had the voice of an angel. I lifted my head off the window to look around and see who the charming singing voice was coming from and I looked beside me, it was Dan. He was singing a Fall Out Boy song, which I couldn't remember the name of, I just remembered the boy in the music video was a deer, so that was cool. But oh my God, DAN COULD SING. He was completely oblivious to everything around him when he was singing. I rested my head on the window once more and rested my eyes for the rest of the trip.

Dan's POV:

I woke up from resting my eyes after listening to some music, we were near Blackpool. I felt something on my shoulder, Phil's hoodie must have fallen from the bag compartment above our heads, I went to go put it back but it wasn't a hoodie, it was Phil's head. He had fallen asleep on my shoulder. He looked very peaceful, so I didn't want to move him, so I popped my headphones back in and listened to some My Chemical Romance. My neck was tired, and I realised I had no window to lean on, so I rested my head on Phil's. He wouldn't mind. I could hear cheering and whooping when I woke up, the bus was slowing down and I could see the big ferris wheel in the distance. We were here! I rubbed my eyes and grabbed my bag from on top of Phil's. I nudged Phil's shoulder, "Phil? Wake up, sleepy, we're here!", I said as he lifted his sleepy head. "Your shoulder is comfy.", he mumbled, yawning as he did. "So is your head!", I replied, making Phil laugh. We all walked out of the bus and into the hotel we were staying in, me and the group of people who we were staying with made it upstairs to our room. It was a nice room. Two double beds and one single bed with beige and chocolate brown sheets, the carpet was dark brown with thin orange stripes through it, there was a desk and a spinny office chair, which we all set our bags on. The group of people we were sharing the room with were quite nice. Just a couple of emo kids and nerds like Phil and I. We threw ourselves onto the only free bed, it was a double bed. "So, I guess we're sharing!", Phil said. "Yep! Only if you don't snore.", I replied, making Phil laugh. We got called down to the foyer to gather up to go to the Blackpool amusements. "Has everyone got everything?", said Miss Payne after the head count. We all got onto the bus to go to the amusements, Phil and I sitting together. "Aaah! I can't wait!", Phil said. "You've never been to Blackpool?", I asked him. "I have, just not the amusements.", he replied. "Well, you're in for some real fun!", I said, laughing as I saw the excitement in Phil's eyes. The bus stopped. "Okay, leave any valuables on the bus, but bring your phones if you wish.", said Miss Payne just before we got off. It was amazing. Yellow, orange, red and pink lights lit the place up. The sounds of roller coasters and rides everywhere. It was so adorable how Phil's face lit up to the sight of it all. "What do you want to do first?", I said to Phil. "That one over there?", said Phil, pointing to a ride which was a circle track with rows of carts on it, it looked basically like a mini roller coaster. "Okay, it looks moderately safe!", I said, taking Phil's hand and walking him over. I gave two tokens to the man running it and we took our seats. "From the age range of people on this ride, I can tell this will go quite badly...", I said, looking at the other people in front of us, who looked around me and Phil's age. The ride started, I gripped tight at the handlebars. "Oh, shit. Oh, shit. Oh, shit.", I repeated until Phil told me to calm down. The ride went at slow-ish speed for 5 minutes. "This isn't so bad...", Phil said. But then the ride kickstarted into a high speed, which made us all scream. "HOLY SHIT!!!!", I yelled, grabbing onto Phil's hand as well as the handle. When the ride stopped, our fringes were behind our ears and our eyes were wide open. "Not so bad, eh, Phil?", I said, nudging him. I noticed my hand on his and yanked it away. "Sorry...", I said. "It's okay, come on, let's go on something else!", Phil said getting out of the cart.

We went on some other rides, like the ferris wheel, the Moby Dick ride, Ultra Buzz and some amusement games, where I won a Scooby Doo stuffie and Phil won a dinosaur stuffie. We took so many pictures, our photo memory was full. On the ride back to the hotel, we described our mental states on the rides, which had us both laughing.
