So far, Immune has been less story more info dump. I myself have just a fantastic time keeping track of all the shit I say, so here is a bit of a clarification/ explanation chapter.
Granted, this IS a first draft, and in the edit there will be more clarification.
Archon - beings that are incredibly old and powerful. They had a proper name once, but it was long forgotten.
Ex. Father Time and Mother Tree
Arcana -
Heightened<Arcana<Esper
These people are human beings gifted with powers, ranging in either one to three of them. They are very smart, but not as much as Espers.
Afflicted, currently my focus along with Immune, is that whole story. Now that NaNo is pretty much done, that will be updated again.
Ex. Clint
Earthborn - the first children of earth. They were either created when earth began or conceived by other Earthborn.
Ex. Nathan, Mother Nature, and Cernunnos
Esper -
Arcana < Esper < Heightened
Human beings who are born with a mutation. This gives them a unique power which is unable to be shut down by any means. They are also incredibly smart and perceptive. No story just yet.
Ex. Suzy
Fables - 'mythical' figures who are very resilient. As long as humanity believes in them, they cannot die.
Ex. SANTA CLAUSE!!!!!
Heightened-
Esper<Heightened<Arcana
Heightened are like Arcana, but they trade off enhanced intelligence to pack a much bigger punch. They are all about raw power.
Kiyan's Altar- a large stone with the ability to balance out anything. Named after the person who was born there, Kiyan.
Legend - a Heightened with much greater power than their lower counterpart. Alone, they could challenge super beings and have a good chance at winning. Conscious, they are superstrong. Unconscious, they can lay waste to civilizations. In order to access that huge reserve of power, they need to know what their purpose is.
Ex. Heracles (To do Hera's task), Grimalkin (To assassinate a certain general)
Septies- a tool that reacts to its holders intentions. It jumps from master to master, aiding those who need it. Only its actual master - Kiyan, or the firstborn of his bloodline - can change it from harming and healing at will. It takes on the form of whatever its current holder needs.
