What a Cruel Fate

This night sure are cold. Wind has been blowing nonstop, makes a jacket that she's wear are meaningles. In this road, she has been walking without a goal in her mind. Just simple walk that can make her heart at ease.

" What a cold night," she's muttered with a low voice.

At the moment, she stopped. Gazing at stars in the sky. The stars with a beautiful moon decorating the night sky with his glittering light. This place is quiet. There's no sound that can interupting her in here. Only sound of a wind and leaves that rub againts each other.

She clossed her eyes. Feeling the breez blowing through her face. Slowly, she's call a memory of her past. The day when she and Doctor meet for the first time, the day when they walked together on the same path, and the day before her loved one begins to change.

" Kalsit, do you have a goal? "

" Not in particular, how about you Doctor? "

" I don't know, sometimes I want to have a peaceful life, and sometimes I want to help the infected, "

" So in the end, you didn't have any particular goal, " Said Kaltis.

" Maybe yes, maybe no, "

" So, why we not setting a goal for us, "

" For us? " Ask Kalsit with wondering face.

Heard Doctors proposal, she's make a dumfounded look on her face and facing him. And then she make a light smile with pleased look on her face.

" How silly, "

Remembering that time put a light and gentle smile on her face. Slowly, she's opened her eyes and then continuing her walk again.

She's walk along this road. The town that where Rodhes Island base looks so empty. Only empty house and ruins as far as the eyes could see. Every single step that she took make her remember the bitter sweet memories of her love.

And then finally a memories that she will never forget, a worst memories that can shattered her heart anytimes. A memories that iccident occurred, when she knows that Doctor lose his memories. A single brown envelope crossing her mind.

She's muttered, " Chernobog Operation,... "

When she pull her hand that still inside her jacket pocket, a ring fall down from her pocket. She's stopped and pick it up, and she's starred at that ring.

" Kalsit,..."

" Yes, "

Doctor that in front of Kalsit stopped after called her name. Without turning around Doctor said, " Kalsit,... What will happen if this war stopped? "

Kalsit paused for a while and then answer him, " We will have a cure for the infected, and everyone will have they ordinary live back. "

Doctor paused for a while, " When that happen,... "

" Will you marry me, Kalsit, ..."

Doctor turn around, take Kalsit hand and waiting her answer.

She's startled hearing that phrase, and then answering, " Yes, with pleasure,... "

A gentle smile engraved in her face. After that, Doctor put a ring in her ring finger.

She's still remembered overhelming feelings that she had that time. Aah, so warm.

Slowly, a single tear flowing cross her cheek.

" Maybe, you didn't even remember this, dear. A memories that now only me that can remember it."

She's putting a ring in her hand on her index finger.
