Chapter 1 - Empty

This chapter may get a bit wonky at times but this is something I really invested in. I've literally been working on this story since April and it's great to finally be able to put it out & gauge you're reaction.

Here's some info you'll need pre-reading.

Hiroshi's quirk is called Photographic Reflexes
with this he's able to duplicate almost any physical act he sees after seeing it done by someone else even if only for once he can also learn and adapt in-battle. His mind can essentially work 10x faster than any regular person this includes his reaction time, reading speed, and information precession. His quirk can also allow his body to grow stronger very quickly. This quirk has no essential drawbacks.

My name is Izuku Midoriya son of Inko and Hisashi Midoriya. I was born July 14th along with my twin brother Hiroshi. As a young child I learned all men are NOT created equal. I learned this lesson at the tender age of 4 years old when my brother got his quirk and I did not. That was when we first began to drift apart. Our friend Katsuki alienated me from our friend group and Hiro let it happen to this day I don't know if he was really was as ignorant to Katsuki bullying me as it seems. Since Katsuki treats me the same way he'd treat any of his "friends" except Hiroshi who he treats as an equal.

In middle school it was even worse, no one wanted to be friends with a quirkless kid after all. It didn't help that I was barely noticeable I was only 5'4 and was scrawny so no one noticed or cared to acknowledge me. Hiroshi however was different being one of the tallest kids in our grade standing at 5'10 add that to the fact he played a lot of sports, so he had a muscular physique.

During our second year we were asked to fill out high school forms and of course everyone wanted to go to the hero course at UA. Although Hiro and Katsuki were the only ones who stood a chance at getting in. I still applied when the teacher called me out for it everyone laughed and Katsuki got mad and outright attacked me to no one's dismay. The teacher ignored it. My classmates laughed at me, and Hiro never turned to see what was going on.

When the class was over Katsuki attacked me again with Hiro talking and laughing with some of our classmates walking away. To him, I was just the weak brother the one he wished didn't exist. When Katsuki told me to kill myself I almost got the courage to fight back...but I didn't.

Leaving school that day I was attacked by a sludge Villian but what was crazier than that was that I had met All Might. Before he left I grabbed onto his leg.
When we landed I poured my heart out to him and asked him if I could be a hero. However, that day I saw All Might for what he truly was in more ways than the physical. He was just as basic as everyone else in this world. He told me I couldn't be a hero cause I didn't have a quirk. I thought All Might would be different, but I was so wrong.

While walking home I saw Katsuki was attacked by the same sludge that I was. Knowing that it was my fault that the sludge got out. I was going to step in but my brother jumped out of the crowd and beat me to it. As Hiro ran towards the villain he weaved around all of the villain's attacks and tried pulling Katsuki out.
I looked to the crowd to see them all fearful waiting for a hero to save the two. But I also saw All Might in his sick form watching as it happened. But he quickly jumped into the scene and saved Hiroshi and Katsuki easily. Changing the weather in the process.

When he left everyone cheered him on shocked by the awesomeness that was the number one hero. I walked away. I felt as if my spirit was just run over by a steam roller.
