Chapter 5 - Pain

Izuku sat waiting on a wall with Denki standing looking like a statue. When all the students passed the finish line. Midnight appeared on stage again.
"The first 42 student to have crossed the line are presented on the board behind me along with the amount of points they have based on their position in the race will move on to the next event everyone else...please leave".

The remaining students looked to the points next to their names. Izuku read his and it read a horrifying '1000000' points. Izuku facepalmed again and mumbled under his breath "fuck".

"The next event will the Calvary Battle the remaining students will make teams out of 2,3, or 4 no more, no less and you'll have 15 minutes to make teams".
Izuku looked to his brother and saw he was joining teams with a pink-haired girl from support and the Uraraka girl and Tokoyami.

Izuku POV

I looked to Denki but saw that he also joined a group. It seemed as if I was without a group.
"I can see that you don't have a group how about you join mine"? I turned around and saw a purple haired boy with bags. I shook my head no. Then he grabbed my shoulder and said "It's not like you have any other choice right"? I thought for a while and said "Sure".

Midnight explained the rules and positions of the team's along with the headbands and then the purple-haired boy who's name I learned was Shinso asked me. "Hey why don't you make me the horse huh"? I turned to answer him, but everything around me went black and I when I opened my eyes again I was flying above the stadium with my teammates on my shoulders and the competing kids fighting all over the stadium floor or they were just laid out. Craters were also placed all over the arena floor. I looked on my shoulder and saw Ojiro, Shinso and, Shoda all on my shoulders. Shin so wearing the white headbands.

I floated down and landed on the ground. "Time's up!...Shinso's team wins with 1 million, two hundred and 5 points". I looked around and saw Katsuki cursing and practically pulling out Eijiro's hair. I felt as if my mind was stuck in a thick fog and it gave me a headache.
"Now we will take a short break before we move on to the next event. The 4 teams with the highest points will move on and that being. Shinso's team, Todoroki's team, Bakugo's team.....and Hiro's team"!

I saw the team's cheering but I just looked around confused. Shinso grabbed my shoulder and said "Hey that's a nice quirk you got. I really couldn't have done it without you."
"W-what happened"? I said panting with my hands on my knees trying to clear my head. "It doesn't matter now...after all we won". He walked away from me. Ojiro stood by me and I stood up "What the hell happened out there" he asked me.

I looked to him and made eye contact with him for a couple of seconds and walked away from him to the waiting rooms.

I saw Shoto take Hiro away for what I'm guessing is a talk.

To Hiro

"Years ago I made a pledge to never use my flames. You however, made me break that pledge". Shoto said
"Well maybe if you had used your flames then you would've won" Hiro said.

"I know that but that's not what I want to talk to you about not mainly anyway. What I wanted to talk about is the nature of your quirk...as far as I can tell, you're quirk is similar if not the same as All Might's. So what I want to ask is...are you All Might's secret love child or something"?
