Chapter 8 - Better Now

Izuku POV

Time had passed since the internship. With one week until the end of term test. Denki and pink girl complained about not studying enough and seemed to get mad about the fact ball boy had better grades and was being so smug about it.

Takoyami and Sato both seemed to agree. I had gotten the highest grades out of the entire class much to Yaoyorozu's disappointment. Tenya placed Third after Yaoyorozu with Katsuki and Hiro both sharing Fourth.

After a short while of all the kids with bad grades begging Momo to tutor them. Except Eijiro who was being forced to tutor under Katsuki. Denki asked me to tutor him instead of Momo. It was a bit surprising that he was the only one to ask me though.

During lunch I overheard Hiro talking with a girl from 1-B about the exercise test. She told him that the exercise would be against the bots again. Which if it was, it would be very easy test for me.

When we got back to class Hiro shared his information with the class. "I don't care who the opponent is! I'll still crush them!" Katsuki yelled.
"And you!" Katsuki yelled pointing at me.

"I don't want another hollow result like the Sports festival! We'll settle this by who has the better grades! I'll show you how much better I am with you, and that goes for you too Half & Half".
I found myself smirking and even holding back a laugh from his statement.

"Okay Bakugo...may the better man win".

One week later

After the written exam which everyone passed. The exercise test is what everyone was curious about. A lot of my classmates thought that it'd be against bots like from the entrance exam.

We all changed into our hero costumes and waited outside with many of UA's hero teachers lined up also. "I'm sure most of you have some knowledge about the UA exercise test" Aizawa told us.
"Yeah we'll be fighting robots right"? Mina and Denki asked.

Mr. Principal hopped out of Aizawa's scarf and said "Actually, due to the surge of villains we've decided to increase the quality of your training. From now on we will try to make your battle simulations more realistic. Class 1-A will be the first to experience this new training."

"Okay so what's the training. You keep talking about an increase in training so if we're not fighting bots then who are we fighting? Each other?" I asked.

"Actually you'll be fighting us. You'll will be all be paired up and facing one of us in the exercise test." Aizawa said.
"Since we seem to have a odd number of students this year we've decided one of you will take the exercise alone and that student is...Izuku Midoriya. We've reached out to a very old UA mentor to face you in a this test".

"Oookay". I said curious "Izuku will be facing Gran Torino".
"Shoto and Momo will be paired together against Eraserhead, and Katsuki and Hiroshi will be paired together against All Might".

Hiro looked as if someone had just sneezed on him. "Hold up...what"? I asked.

"I AM HERE". A voice boomed above us and out of The sky dropped the Number 1 hero...All Might. I looked away from him and scoffed as all my peers looked shocked. Hiro and Katsuki looked scared and as if they were trying to hide it.
