Chapter 7 - Foriegn Threat

I woke up early and used that time to work out and shower by the time I left the shower Skyline was awake and in a suit. "What's the most important aspect of being a hero? Well that's the publicity you have of course. Everyone knows that All Might wouldn't be as well known as he is if that video of his debut wasn't put on the internet! Or if most of his greatest fights weren't recorded which is the reason why Enji boy has trouble surpassing the All Might kid, because he hates and scares away any recording fans"! Skyline yelled

"Well I guess that does make sense considering that Endeavor has solved a lot more incidents and beaten more villains than All Might has. It would seem that All Might only has stayed at the top for what he represents and the amount of merchandise his brand produces and sells".

"Smart Lad...now get into the outfit I set out for you and we'll go out". Skyline said
"But what about patrol"? I asked.
"My agency is working on all our patrol duties- - as of right now the only thing that matters is increasing your publicity".

I went to my room after eating breakfast and saw the outfit that was laid out. I put it on and looked in the mirror. I wore a grey crewneck sweater with a white shirt underneath. I also wore a pair of black slim fit jeans. With Tobacco president boots.

When I left the room Skyline wiped a fake tear from his eye. "So handsome!" Before we went out I put on a black leather jacket which was the last piece of the outfit. When skyline and I walked out we were immediately followed by the paparazzi as they took pictures of us from the distance. While we walked across the city Skyline gave me pointers on how to direct myself when flying around. At the end of that day we stopped our tour at a hero diner. I met dozens of American heroes and ate a dent in Skyline's bank account.

That day I didn't see Melissa at all but within hours I was on a news article titled 'Christopher Skyline AKA Captain Celebrity walks the streets of New York with UA first year Izuku Midoriya' My first thought was that the article's title was too long.

The next day however Skyline and I once again went on patrol. And once again I saw Melissa. This time in her lab in the Shield building. I read her notes and books and found myself tranced by her way of thinking. As I looked over her notes I saw an idea for every quirks that was displayed in the Sport Festival.

I spent all night helping her with her inventions. So the next morning I was dead tired while on patrol. By my count I still had 4 days left in my internship. So far I'd discovered that maybe Skyline wasn't the best choice for an internship...just maybe.

While I was on patrol Skyline left me to flirt with some girl. While I walked the streets an explosion happened just around the corner. Wasting no time I sprinted to where the explosion took place. When I got there I saw it was a museum. I made my way to the entrance where the cops were stationed outside. "Hey hero" an officer said addressing me. "What's going on"? I asked him.

"The Assailants are in the museum. They have hostages". Another cop answered
"How many are there"? I asked
"At least 12". I nodded and flew upwards above the museum and flew back in through a open window. The hostages were all laid out on the floor. The security guard's were all dead. I rammed myself into the 3 masked men that had their guns on the hostages.

"Run"! I ordered the hostages. The hostages made their way out of the building. 11 more men showed up and began firing their guns at me. The bullets hit my skin but fell down to the floor in loud clinks. "Wanna give up now"? I asked.
