His back presses against the door and his hand is clutched to his chest, breathing erratic as he stares at his flustered reflection.
He was in disbelief.
What... What just happened? He doesn't know how to explain the strange feeling in his stomach, his heart beating hard for some reason he didn't understand.
"Yoongi what the fuck is wrong with you," he asks to himself and shaking his head, "this isn't like me."
He takes a deep breath before composing himself, walking out as if nothing had happened.
Namjoon was sitting at one of the metal benches, looking at his phone with a nervous expression on his face.
Yoongi approaches him cautiously before lightly tapping him on the shoulder, "hey..."
The taller looks up before immediately standing up with an embarrassed look on his face, "hey about earlier... I'm sor-" "It's fine, don't worry about it."
The comfortable silence that they had before was gone- Now replaced with awkward tension.
"It's getting late, I should probably go-"
"I can drop you off."
The offer is sudden and Yoongi is hesitant to respond. "I-"
His phone rings before he can have the chance to respond, pulling out the vibrating, cellular device from his pocket.
Hoseok's name glows brightly in the screen and he looks up and sees the taller's curious eyes.
"Your friend?" Namjoon asks and Yoongi nods and replies, "best friend actually."
He slides the green button and presses the phone against his ear, not breaking eye contact with Namjoon.
"Hey Hoseok."
"Hey Yoongi, sorry for leaving you by yourself for a few hours. Things just came up at the wrong time you know?"
The other was speaking relatively fast, and it drew some suspicion. "Hoseok is everything okay?"
He hears voices come from the other side of the phone, something that seems like yelling but it's hard to hear.
"Everything's just fine. I just wanted to apologize for leaving you that's all... And you'll have to get a ride back home haha. Sorry again."
The other cuts the call before Yoongi could say anything else, the dial tone ringing in his ear.
"Everything okay?" Namjoon asks softly, trying to read Yoongi's face.
Yoongi looks at his phone for a few seconds, "I'm not sure... I hope so."

So he ended up taking Namjoon's offer on driving him home, though it wasn't as awkward as the first time he drove him home.
They managed to get into a discussion for their art project, trying to find a way of associating art with words.
"What are some things you love Yoongi?" Namjoon asks suddenly, taking him by surprise.
"I don't exactly 'love' things... More like appreciate," he mumbles and the taller nods in acknowledgement.
"Okay, so what do you appreciate then?" Yoongi thinks for a moment.
This wasn't something that could be answered easily.
"Well..." he starts off, "I guess I appreciate everything my parents have done for me, Hoseok being a good friend, and my passion for art and music-" "You play any instruments?"
Yoongi nods, "piano."
Namjoon smiles, Yoongi catching the dimples that appear on the taller's face.
Cute- "Now it's your turn to answer."
He watches as Namjoon's face contorts into a look of seriousness, lips pressed in a thin line and eyes still focused on the road.
"Well I played the guitar in middle school- But then I broke it," he says with a sheepish smile and Yoongi help but let out a chuckle.
"Wait a second. You, the golden boy of the school, broke a guitar?" he laughs and Namjoon joins him.
"Actually, I've broken a lot of things. You'd be surprised how destructive my whole being can be," he says and it makes Yoongi grin a bit.
BUT only a little.
"How about the first question: What do you appreciate?" he questions and Namjoon pulls off into a nearby parking lot.
"Why'd you pull over?" Namjoon turns to him, "I wanted to answer this question face to face."
Yoongi's neck flushes at his words, but keeps a cool composure.
He wasn't letting the taller get to him so easily.
"So what's stopping you?" he presses on and he sees Namjoon's gaze falter elsewhere for a moment.
"Nothing. Absolutely nothing Yoongi." He pauses before taking a breath.
"To be honest- I appreciate a lot of things. My parents, my education, my friends, my life," he stops to smile at Yoongi, "but there is one thing that I appreciate the most."
Yoongi raises his eyebrow in curiosity, "and what's that?"
Namjoon seems hesitant to answer, but confidence strikes him as he says:
"Being partnered with you."
